Ricchan is insanely cute. And I certainly appreciate that the lead guy is actively pursuing a romance with her, instead of the usual oblivious-to-love or passive-shy approaches.
See also: a Birth of Venus gag. Wow.
No, no. They were just discussing the fine arts.
I like episode 2 better.
The new girl's introduction reminded me of one of my favourite Gintama arcs where the fake cuteness just annoys the other girls.
I especially liked the way the only cracks in her façade were just outside of the main character's perspective.
Also the in-character ED signing is great.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."This is certainly the cutest show I've seen in a while and you've gotta love that colour palette.
Okay, she gained a few cool points by dumping that guy.
I like Sayaka. She's so compulsively evil.
Otherwise, I'm not too sure about this series. There are funny points, but the main couple is kind of dull.
Check out my fanfiction!Pretty much this. Considered that are main merit of thish show, I can't say Mayumi can safe it, especialy if scriptwriter decide not give further emphasis on her character development, which is more than common way to misuse this archetype.
"Why not remove your makeup?" Oooooh, BURN.
I guess I'm the only one who likes the main couple? They're nothing too interesting, but they're decent enough folk. Usa keeps on projecting that fuwa fuwa aura that I like and Ricchan is cute. They're certainly more fun to watch than Sayaka.
I can relate to getting too affected by books, ahaha.
I like them. They're both pretty geeky, and while Usa is certainly more reactive than not, I've seen worse protagonists.
I'm still not sure how much drama this is going to have. I mean, sure, I doubt Sumiko is going to die or that there will be some epilogue where the two protagonists are married to two other people, lamenting how they never confessed to each other or whatever, but from here I figure the focus will be either on, "He confesses, gets rejected, and things are awkward," or, "The crush is implied to be reciprocal, and the two act cutely towards one another, but things go nowhere."

Fire, air, water, earth...legend has it that when these four elements are gathered, they will form the fifth element...boron.It does seem like it's more of a throwback to older styles of storytelling in anime.
Either way, the character interactions are really selling it to me.
The main couple are really entertaining, I really root for them.
Me too.
If anything the other guy lets down the cast the most, even if he still rounds out the ensemble.
Of course the most sociopathic girl may be the one I find most entertaining.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Lies, Shiro is the best character!
I'm not totally sold on Sayaka.
Even if Sayaka's main purpose is to cause drama, in a show like this it'll be minor at worst like setting Usa up to fall with the old Bondage Bag Seat trick which was funny, and then she gets told by Shiro later on so it all evens out.
I wasn't expecting many thing from this show, but I really laughed hard :)
At first I though it was another Shojo with bubble and pink romance, but it's really funny and the characters are interesting. With Usa being kind of a plausible character with normal reaction it's rather nice to see.
Episode 4 is out:
This series continues to deliver. This time an actual misunderstanding, not one of those stupid ones where everyone acts as if they were retarded.
I can understand Usa, he's a teenager in love, he believed what he wanted to believe and acted thoughtlessly.
But I really can understand Kawai. Socializing can be such a pain and there's nothing more annoying than people thinking there's something wrong with you for avoiding it and trying to help you.
Usa and Kawai are such a cute couple and I like how low key the moments of tenderness between them are.
Episode 4. In...cy Wincy Spider...
Sayaka saying it makes me wonder about if it isn't false after all anyway.
Shocking. Not that she kept herself from drinking for long. Still, I like Mayumi. She's surprisingly interesting.
I'd question why they think it's acceptable to hit him for no particular reason, but it's him.
What's wrong with being alone because you want to be?
That hamster looks familiar.
Saya spider is cute.
I think I'd have it really easy to become friends with her.
Check out my fanfiction!Oh man Episode 5 was great.
How many anime can you name where one of the characters basically tells the 2 characters "JUST FUCK ALREADY"
Episode 5. In which there's a virus.
And inside the room he finds something absolutely shocking! The OP.
Saya's not creepy at all.
Yeah, she can suck on that instead.
I like that virus scanner analogue. And yeah, Sumiko picked out the virus rather accurately.
I'm going to go with Mayumi, there. They're sickeningly naïve.
"They don't match." Sure know how to make a girl feel special, don't you?
Kawai's equipped for battle, and Usa turns into Shiro.
Aww, wanted to see Saya too. It's certainly something she deserves.
So clueless about the flowers he's planting...
Well, at least it didn't turn into a story where everyone's just trying to beat everyone else down.
Discussing isn't nearly as fun if you agree on everything.
That's not quite what was said.
Check out my fanfiction!I was paraphrasing.
No, you wrote something else entirely. Paraphrasing implies it has the same meaning.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 5:
I have to say, this is one hell of adorable love story. Their ups and downs seem so genuine and heartfelt. It's long since I've seen something this good.
Also, how else thinks that Shiro will turn out to be a famous writer?
If the "destroying innocence" team can stop messing with each other they'd be pretty dangerous.
Episode 7:
Wait, weren't the walking from school together anyway? Why is it treated as something new?
That said, Kawai really has him wrapped around her little finger.
Usa scores some mad points because he actually listens to what she says. How nice.
So that's what happened to him during middle school. Oddhand indeed.
Ah, so that's her thing, cosplay. Also she really did consider his request very seriously. Something tells me that Usa is close to his goal than he thinks.
More than he thinks, less than he'd hope considering the manga's way further ahead without too much progress, apparently.
Surprised this didn't have it's thread yet.
After two episode I really like it. I can appreciate a laid back comedy like this.
