So several weeks ago a rather scatterbrained friend of my dad with strong political leanings wrote a rambling half-page of suggestions he wanted to make to City Council about legislation regarding the funding of public schools. My dad paid me $50 to turn it into a properly formatted bill. City Council passed it up to the State Senate, and now it's being incorporated into another bill. And the State Senators are so impressed with how it was written (ghost-written) that I may have some kind of in now with the folks in Harrisburg and this may not be my last such assignment.
