So I noticed that this forum doesn't (as far as I can see) have a thread for ToME
4. Time to fix that! You can get it here
. Or on Steam, which costs but is basically the donator version - the one from the link above is free. I'd elaborate further, if a friend of mine hadn't gone and typed up something far more comprehensive and still mostly current over here

I will say this for now, though. Play on Adventurer Normal (or Easier if you need! Nothing wrong with it), pick Alchemist if you want easy progress (and later summoner), and remember, it's perfectly normal to die constantly and quickly when starting out. Just as it will eventually be normal to beat all the tier 2 dungeons while only losing a life or two as a matter of course. Don't lose heart!
