Ahh. Good times.

I thought the episode was nice. Given that the show ran on Negative Continuity, I can't find any meaning in how things played out, and I know they're likely to ignore it if ATHF ever gets revisited.

Given that it's one of AS's most iconic and long-running shows, it is a bit sad to think that it's finally over. But to be honest, I don't think the show had been consistently good for a very long time, and I don't blame Mike Lazzo for thinking that it was time to put it to rest.

I'm surprised it only got eight episodes, though. Last season had ten episodes. Even accounting for the last episode getting a standard half-hour length, that's still one episode less.

It certainly has been a year of endings for Adult Swim, isn't it? Aqua Teen Hunger Force ended, The Boondocks completed its final season, the execs passed on a fifth season of Metalocalypse. I don't think Adult Swim is ever going to feel the same.

I can't tell if it's over or not.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.

I guess that answers my question about the season getting one less episode than the previous season.

The fate of the show truly is up in the clouds. With Lando.

Given how much trolling the creators of the show have done in the past, I always had a slight bit of doubt that the show was really cancelled.

I couldn't watch the vid but it was all just a joke? That's a bit disappointing, I really liked what they did as an ending.

It opened with Shake and Meatwad watching the "last" episode on tv and saying how that happened a week ago. Then Carl and Frylock found shampoo that made them immortal.

The end of this is so darkly hilarious and so the epitome of this show.

Fun fact, the voice of Willie Nelson is also the voice of Greg from Steven Universe.

That is a pretty different voice he's doing for most of that, and also very different from the real Willie Nelson! [lol]

"Are we trying to kill him, or scare him?" "Killing is scary." got a laugh out of my brother.

A sequel's been in Development Hell since the show was still on, it takes the 20th anniversary for it to come out!

Even after six years of being canned, dancing is still forbidden. But getting our first look at AquaDonk Side Pieces isn't.

(YouTube embed coming soon?)

Oh look, Carl actually wearing something besides his usual tank top and sweatpants.

[up] Are we gonna get a grand return of Dr. Weird and his partner Steve? Given that C. Martin Croker passed away, I'm sure they could use some new voice actors, like John DiMaggio as Dr. Weird and Tom Kenny as Steve.

Probably not. They might just retire the characters.

I'd love to see the ATHF meet their Baffler Meal versions (the original ATHF).

AQUA DONK SIDE PIECES is a go!

Episode 1: The Return of Handbanana (and The Enforcer Spaghetti!)

Episode 2: The Broodwrap

You know you played it all wrong when not even Meatwad wants to eat your bizarre hell-food.

According to the Adult Swim Festival, the upcoming special is called Aqua Teen Forever: Phantasm. It's expected to debut in the Fall.

Footage from the new movie. Looks very fluid.

Necro-Bump!

Aqua Teen won't never be canceled!

Aqua Teen won't be dismantled!

Aqua Teen gonna be together!

Aqua Teen gonna be forever!

(...at least for five more episodes.)

Yep, America's Favorite Fast-Food-based, most-polar-opposite-ist, detectives-who-don't-actually-do-any-detective-stuff trio plus their cantankerous, overweight neighbor are coming back for a five-episode long 12th season!

Gentlemen, BEHOLD!

The first look at season 12 of ATHF!

And if anyone is asking "why only 5 episodes?" It's because it came out of the production pipeline set up by the Plantasm movie and they're testing the waters on making more.

The first two episodes aired tonight, anyone else watch em?
