Bump.
It is looking to raise funds for a full game BTW.
I like it. Atmosphere is cool. Also the dad looks like Agent 47.
I don't really think much of it as a game. Not particularly interesting or challenging, just kind of aggravating. I do appreciate the satire, though
I'm pretty sure manipulating your "safe zone" counts as a challenge.
Now I'm wondering what other settings can wrap around such a mechanic?
Personally, I've seen metaphysical/supernatural and dystopian.
The game in its current form has just been canceled. The impression I got from the newsletter was that while the mechanics were cool, they had nothing to do with the message, and making the message inform gameplay would involve creating an entirely new game.

This is like Closure, but with a grim dystopian paintjob.

Ok so the gameplay is that you have to remain in sight of the cameras. If you don't, you get shot down by off screen tranquilizer guns. Like Closure, one can pick up and move objects that define the safe zone, but unlike Closure the objects become inactive when picked up.
But dang I think we could use more games like this. "Safe Zone" games as I would like to call them, of course if you have a better name please tell me.
