Sonic eyed at Zaeed,rather stranged when he asked what was he.
"Huh?haven't you seen a hedgehog before,you know,a spiky,furry,animal from earth?because thats what i am."
He said to Zaeed,has the future where that guy comes from forgot how animals look like or what?.

I was just about to snap the guy's neck when I heard the voice again. This time I heard him loud and clear though. That is when I realized how quiet it got. All that gun fire and pew pew noises stopped. The only ones still raising a ruckus was this guy and me. I kept ready to break the guy's neck in case he tried anything funny and let the wizard guy ask his questions. I almost felt sorry for the monster. His friends all dead, surrounded by hostile enemy, only choice between death and more painful death. "You really should have done us both a favor and stayed in bed this morning."
Seimei noticed the Japanese man appear from thin air. Was he responsible for some of the good fortune they received in the battle. She would resolve this mystery later. The last youkai's time was short, and she was curious what it had to say as well. She noticed the young girl hanging around the youkai's neck. She was equal measures disappointed and impressed to see that the girl had not fled when she had the chance. She watched the helmed sorcerer work his magic, curious on the method he was using to extract the information.
How do you kill that which has no life?
"I'm actually beginning to feel sorry for that thing..."
The Section 9 agent said as he watched Veldoran do his thing with the Oros Primus held under a headlock. He approached Ethan and stood next to him in order to see what was going to happen next.
"Damn you human! Stay away from my he....AAAAGGGHHGGHGH!!!!"
The Oros Primus felt his mind being overwhelmed thanks to Veldoran's work. Through the deep dark parts of its mind, he was able to see three cloaked figures with hoods covering their heads that he cannot get a good look at their faces.

Somewhere nearby on top of a skyscraper
A small portal opened up and let out a peculiar duo. A pair of robots carrying a large black ball with a large red X on it and red lines all over its surface. The pair rolled out to the middle of the roof and set down the ball. They put their hands into slots on the ball, and each pulled back revealing the inside, a generator of some kind with a timer counting down.

Veldoran wondered who these strange figures in the memories of the daemon were,but he could not see it,deciding that what the group of these 3 cloaked humans were talking about was more important,the warlock decided to listen to what the figures were saying instead,surely they might say something important about either what's going on or why they tried to kill the group.

"It's quite unfortunate that the party sent to meet up with these individuals has been... not fortunate for us."
"Regardless of what happened, it's to show them the existence of Oros Phlox. Otherwise, how can we not show them that we are meant to be the true new masters of the new era that is meant to come for us."
"So what do we do?"
"It's quite simple, really. We proceed to the next phase of our plan and show these meddlesome humans why they should not mess with us."

New era...oro phlox...Veldoran wondered what this oro phlox was,but judging by how one of them said something about a new era,Veldoran clearly knew it meant the control of the planet or something else.
Veldoran left the mind of the oro primus,before readying his witchblade and cutting it's head off,also making sure not to hit ibuki.
"I learned some things from the daemon,it seems that a malicious group of people sent these daemons to kill us..and they plan to bring a.."new age"...while i do not know what it is,it must be something of a horrible thing if they succeed"
Veldoran said to the group.

"Oh great, another world domination plot I got sucked into," Megaman said, moving closer to look at the Oro Primos' body. His hand had returned to normal again from the Mega Buster. He was used to battling EM creatures, and the thought of fighting fully biological monsters scared him slightly. It felt more like murder than simply saving the day, and he wasn't entirely comfortable with that.
"Don't worry about it kid, they definitely weren't innocent if they were attacking a city full of people." Omega-Xis said. Though this "new age" thing reminds me of those Ancient Star Carrier guys from Mu. You think this new enemy's the same kind of crazy?
"Yeah, maybe, but Mu wasn't nearly this violent." Megaman said under his breath. "So what do we do now? Look for more of these...things?" he asked, poking the body with the toe of his boot.

"Did you catch any names or potential leads when you were reading that thing's mind?" Said Ethan, mildly interested in the unfolding scenario. His detective skills weren't what they used to be, his heavy drinking certainly hadn't helped them, but he could still probably be of some use.
Liberty City Park - Zaeed Massani
"I've seen some vids of hedgehogs, though they were smaller and weren't blue if I'm remembering correctly." Said Zaeed responding to Sonic's question. Noticing that Veldoran had relaxed a bit, he turned to Sonic and said "It looks like our new Biotic friend is done digging around in that big bastard's head, let's go see what he found out."

"Hey! At least wait for me to get off before swinging that thing." I checked to make sure the guy didn't nick me. Nothing. I let out a sigh of relief. With that guy gone the fight was over and I can finally relax. "Trying to kill us? We didn't even do anything yet...guess I found the 'great evil' though. or it found me, its so embarrassing being ambushed when your a ninja. Hey wait a minute..." My body went tense again when I came to a sudden realization. I eyed the rest of the group wearily before pointing and accusing finger at everyone. "You're not cosplayers! But that means..." My eyes scanned the group til I found the blue guy. Sonic the Hedgehog. Making a straight line for him, I stopped in front of him and looked in awe. I reached out to pinch his cheeks just to make sure he was really there. "A-are you actually real? Your not like some super powered guy in a costume or a robot or something are you?"
Seimei watched the youkai's head roll with disinterest. So the evil she sought was not limited to an individual, but a group. What their goals were she still did not know, only, if her divination was correct, that they will bring ruin to the capital if left unchecked. Still, they had at least confirmed one of her theories. These people were not normal individuals. This gathering was not by mere chance either. Seimei spoke out in her monotonous "If this malicious group has sent these assassins, then it is because they perceived those gathered here as a threat. And with the death of their assassins, we have proven them right. I am very curious to learn the identity of those I stand before now. Ah, forgive my impoliteness" Seimei took a graceful bow before introducing herself "I am Abe no Seimei. Onmyoji of the imperial court."

"Seimei?" The agent was surprised to hear her actual name. "I would have said that something's kidding, but considering the crap that just happened..."
He then introduced himself. "Name's Saito of Public Security Section 9. Guess I got sent back here from 2031 to save you guys."
Saito then handed the Glock 17 and the three 17-round magazines to Ethan. "You probably need this more than I do. I already fired five rounds from the pistol, so there should be twelve rounds left."

"Other than something about an oro phlox,the daemon doesn't know anything else or how their leaders looked like"Veldoran said,before hearing the other humans say their names.
"I am warlock Veldoran of the eldar of craftworld Alaitoc" He said.
Sonic was about to respond to Zaeed,when suddenly some kind of ninja girl started to look at him for some reason..and then suddenly pinched his cheeks.
"OW!what was that for?!"he said while rubbing one of his cheek with his hand,before hearing what she said.
"Uh..last time i checked i wasnt any of those..so yeah,if you mean if i'm the real Sonic,this is the real deal and not a fake you are seeing now!pretty cool,huh?"
Sonic said to Ibuki with a slight smirk on his face.

"Well, in this form, I'm called Megaman," he said. "But since we'll probably be working together, I shouldn't really be keeping any secrets. There was a flash of light that obscured Megaman for a second, and then Geo was standing in his place in his usual street clothes, Hunter-VG on his wrist and Visualizer shades sitting on his head.
"My actual name is Geo Stellar, and I guess I'm from the far future too compared to this time." He tapped a few buttons on the Hunter-VG and the screen extended. "Materialize!" A blue armored wolf like energy ghost appeared beside him, with sharp green spines and claws and red eyes. "And this is my partner, Omega-Xis."
"Hope you have room for one more hero, cause I'm definitely sticking around for this fight! We're gonna go buck wild on 'em!" Omega-Xis said, swiping at the air a few times.
The Park
Geno Crossed his arms and looked out at the city as the others spoke. His mind started to put a few things together. This wasn't Mushroom world and it's filled with humans. This must be the place where the Mario Brothers came from. "A world domination plot? Sounds like something I'm good for stopping. Even here, in what I think is Earth."
On top of the nearby skyscraper
As the heros calmed down from the action, the device the two robots on the nearby skyscraper neared the end of its countdown. 3.. 2.. 1.. BBSSSSH! The device flashed and emitted a rapidly expanding purple rift in spacetime, covering the entire skyscraper it was sitting on in a sphere. It slowed down its expansion just as quickly until it stopped altogether, covering most of the nearby buildings and a part of the park. After a few moments, a very large ship emerged from the rift. It had a large main cannon underneath the front of the ship that ended in a mask any Dreamlander would be familiar with. The gunship was lined with small machinegun ports, clearly a ship meant for serious business.
On board the ship
A blue spinning spiked ball struck the King Koopa on the deck of the Halberd, bouncing off and unrolling to reveal a familiar blue hedgehog... virtually identical to the one on the ground. An Angel shot a few blue arrows into the demon turtle to follow up. "Get off my ship!" Bowser popped into his shell and spunn quickly, slamming into the pair he was fighting and sending them flying off of the ship. "Woaaah!" As the pair fell to the ground, in the middle of our heroes, the Angel's wings glowed blue and started flapping. He caught the blue hedgehog and slowed down, landing safely.

Ethan accepted the gun from Saito, surprised that he was giving up what appeared to be his only weapon. "Thanks for this, I'll see if I can put it to good use." Veldoran's report about the Oro Phlox made Ethan wonder if they were related to the Oro he'd fought back in Metro City "I might as well introduce myself too. Ethan Thomas, ex-Special Crimes Unit. It's a long story." When the skyscraper started glowing purple, Ethan started debating whether or not this was a very vivid and surreal dream. When the glow started expanding and eventually spawned the gunship, Ethan approached Veldoran and asked "So, you have any ideas about what this is?"
Liberty City Park Zaeed Massani
"Another save the world scenario? I've been dealing with those since before my hair started greying. By the way, I'm Zaeed Massani and I'm one of the best goddamn guns for hire in the galaxy." Realizing that last statement might not apply at the moment, Zaeed corrected himself "Well, my galaxy at least." When Zaeed finally noticed the rather large gunship above him he commented "I charge extra for boarding jobs by the way, though I don't suppose any of you would have credits."

"That. Is. So. COOL! I have some of your games on my DS. Ah crap, I left it at home with Don, or else I would totally ask you to sign it. Can I get a picture with you on my phone? None of my friends back home would believe I ran into a real life Sonic the Hedgehog." I was half listening to the introductions back there. Some interesting names seem to be coming up like Abe no Seimei and Megaman. But right now I was talking to like a celebrity. I'll check it out in a bit. Or maybe not. Some sort of weird rift as opening up at a nearby sky scraper. "Oh come on! It hasn't even been five minutes and they are already throwing more guys at us! Wait, is that a...?" My blood ran cold and I began to grit my teeth. There was no mistaken it. That ominous ornate design, that was definitely a pirate ship! I rose my fist in the air and began shaking it toward the ship. "Screw you pirates! You think you're cool just cause you got a nice boat! Ninja still kick more ass with nothing more than gardening tools! Ninjas win you hear me? NINJAS WIN!" I stood there seething in anger before realizing what an ass I was making of my self in front of my new celebrity friend. I turned to him sheepishly "Pirates, you know? Always trying to up show the ninja." I noticed something drop from the ship. It was...SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!? "Wait! What!?" I quickly looked back and forth from the new Sonic and the one standing beside me, completely confused.
A Japanese man from the future, a boy with a wolf youkai as a thrall, and a magically gifted elder with from a place known as Alaitoc. Interesting company she was keeping. The other two seemed to be merely human, which in many ways made them even more of an anomaly. She turned her attention to the rift and the flying ship that appeared from it. It reminded her of the capital ship of the ghouls' flying fleet, though this was the first time she has seen any ship be fully cast in iron. A figure similar to the blue youkai she first spoke to when coming to this land dropped from the ship and into her immediate vicinity. While youkai often look similar to the naked eye, this was the first time one held such an identical aura. "Youkai. I seek knowledge on your identity and this ship you bring with you. Speak and you won't be purified."
How do you kill that which has no life?
"Don't worry." Saito grinned at Ethan. "I got my sidearm at the back."
He then motioned to the slinged assault rifle in front of him. "And I got my Seburo C26A with me, so there shouldn't be a problem."
Saito saw the incoming ship arrive. "And things just got a lot weirder." He began to shoulder his assault rifle to be on the safe side.

"No..i have not seen any ship like this before,it might be a warp portal it was teleported by,but daemons would had been pouring by now"
Veldoran said to Ethan,taking off his witchblade,it seems fate has more things ready for this group after all.
Sonic smiled as the ninja girl seemed to be a fan of him,as she even asked if he could be in a photo with her.
"Eh,why not?wouldnt mind to make a fan happ-"he was interrupted when suddenly a giant ship appeared out of nowhere,more enemies already?
That was,until he noticed...himself?!what?! the ninja girl seemed as confused just as him,was this some kind of trick by Eggman?but if that was so,then...himself would had been attacked by the other him.
Shaking his head,clearing his face of both confusion and surprise,he walked to where his..double was landing thanks to some kind of angel.
"Hey...umm...myself!you're no trick by Eggman or something like that are you?"
He said to...well,himself..or the double of him,this is really getting more confusing.

The Park
The other Sonic looked at his counterpart as the Angel surveyed the small crowd. "Ah, another me! Do you think?" The other Sonic looked at the angel, who nodded back. "I didn't think I would meet you so soon! I'm not with Eggman.." But the Angel interrupted. "Hey guys, I'm Pit! But, no time for explanations now, look." Pit pointed to the gunship which started opening its cargo hatch, letting loose a countless number of small glowing marble sized balls. The ground became carpeted in the things, which started to gather together, creating cylinder shaped bodies with spindly arms and legs. "Those are Primids, watch it, they are stronger than they look!" Pit shot a few glowing arrows at one Primid, which promptly dissolved back into the Dark Bugs it was made from which faded away. Trophy!Sonic meanwhile summoned a Spring under his feet and shot high into the air, then fell into a kick destroying one of the Primid wielding a giant Boomerang.
Geno
Geno looked out at the army. "We are going to need to use more serious attacks here!" Geno held his arms up to the sky, and visibly magic started to gather in his outstretched hands.
Enemy: 49x Primid, 23x Boomerrang Primid, 10x Big Primid, 10x Sword Primid.

Veldoran readied for battle against the large horde of enemies,before casting Enhance at the entire group,including the two newcomers which one of them was too similiar to one of the other blue alien in the group,before then casting Immolate at a group of sword primids,attempting to burn them all down.
"Man,there are lots of enemies,but we can handle them!"
Sonic said,before crouching down and curling up in a ball,before using his spin dash and attempting to hit a few normal primids.

"Oh boy, reinforcements..." Omega-Xis looked up at the massive battleship in the sky and whistled. "Now that's a spacecraft! Far better design than those dorky looking shuttles you Earthlings make for WAZA missions. Well, better get down to business." The FM-ian disappeared back into Geo's wristband, and he pulled out a blue card that looked like a liscence or ID. Geo swiped it through the Hunter-VG and held his hand up.
"Wave Change!" The miniature computer released a burst of electrical energy that wrapped around his body, leaving him as Megaman again. "Airspread!" he yelled, loading another card. This time, a different gun appeared on his wrist. His energy blast would now also damage enemies that happened to be nearby the intended target, like a shrapnel explosion. He fired a few shots at the regular Primids, using their mob formation against them to hit as many as possible

Liberty City Park - Zaeed Massani
"Well, this is exciting." said Zaeed as he pulled out Jessie and took aim at the nearest Big Primid and let out a long burst of automatic fire. Realizing that they'd need to get organized before their new foes closed the distance Zaeed began barking orders to the rest of his new allies "Saito, Ethan and you with the handgun! Get your asses over here and lay down some suppressing fire with me. Seimei, Veldoran use those fancy Biotics of yours to take out the larger clusters of these things. Geo, you and the puppet take aim at the bigger ones. Assassin girl, you and Sonic see what you can do about dealing with any stragglers." when he finished yelling at the group he pulled out an Inferno Grenade and tossed into the midst of a large group of the regular Primids.
Liberty City Park - Ethan Thomas
This was all getting to be a bit much for Ethan who right now was wishing he was back in Metro city dealing with the scum that lived there. At least they were predictable. Acknowledging Zaeed's order he stood beside the old man and opened fire at anything that got close enough for him to shoot with any reliability. One in every three or four shots scored a hit, and he was running out of ammunition. Ethan would need to find some sort of hand-to-hand combat weapon soon or he'd have to resort to pistol whipping these things.

"COVER ME!"
Saito shouted as rushed into the streets in order to flank the incoming enemy. On his way to intercept them, Saito passed by another overturned LCPD squad car. The Section 9 agent checked the interior to see that the officers are knocked out from the impact of the crash with blood dripping down from their heads.
"Dammit..." Saito muttered before he secured eight Glock 17 magazines from their duty belts, with two of them taken from their Glock 17s. He collected them and activated his optical camouflage as he made his way to help Ethan.
He ran as fast as he could to Ethan's side, still under optical camouflage.
"Sorry I'm late." Saito deactivated the optical camo and handed Ethan additional magazines for the Glock 17 he's using. "I was able to muster up eight magazines. You may need them."
Liberty City Park - Ethan Thomas
After feeling the Primus' neck give way, Ethan stood up and headed over to join the rest of the oddballs in the park currently gathering around the last Primus. Seeing that Veldoran was attempting to interrogate the Primus, Ethan piped up with some advice that had helped in similar situations for him "Break some of his fingers, that'll get him to talk."

Replying to Sonic's question as he holstered his pistol Zaeed said "It's starting to look something like that. I'm wondering how I'll get back to my time, if I even survive all this insanity." As he started walking off to join the rest of the small crowd, Zaeed turned to Sonic "I've been to just about every planet in the galaxy, and I've never seen anything quite like you. What the hell are you?"
