Champions of the Multiverse: a Capcom vs. Whatever OOC thread

Welcome to Champions of the Multiverse: a Capcom vs. Whatever OOC thread. I'm Ominae, one of the GMs responsible for this game alongside Paulie Romanov, the main GM with stephanreiken, another GM alongside me.

Now this game is played similar to the previous games Namco x Capcom and Project x Zone in which Bandai Namco^note Includes all Namco, Bandai and any companies that were integrated to them before N and B merged., Capcom and Sega characters are included.

This time, PR decided to include characters from Rockstar, Square Enix (These two having confirmed characters), Konami, Tecmo Koei, Nintendo, Bethesda Games, Nintendo, Midway and 2K Games.

Sorry about that folks. Busy calling a local college on an important matter.

Likewise I have spent the day at college and I've been napping since I got home. I just woke up.

While I'd love to start this, I don't know in which direction should I get the RP IC thread up.

Someone get Scorpio and kage's attention via PM that the discussion thread is now officially online.

Any characters that start in the city before this are free to move in. PR said you could start either in the city or by appearing here.

I'd like it if you get into the park in your introduction post, but if you want to do a mini-plot with someone beforehand just say so and you can.

Btw, you don't have to use glowing water. Its a reference to Project X.

PS - Is there a precedence where a player in a RP controls three characters?

I think I will do Ibuki's future posts in first person rather then third. I guess I was trying to mix the two and it came off a bit weird.

Hey, PR. The limit of characters per player is two, right?

So, you've probably gone over this before, are the characters going to be 'balanced'? For example, in Marvel vs Capcom you can have ordinary humans beating The Hulk, even though Hulk would ordinarily curbstomp them.

Fyi, since this setting has a lot of Canon forging..

Unless you think its a bad idea, I'm going to go with forge Mario-verse to the real, modern world via canon Mario. That is, Mushroom World is directly connected to the 'present' and so popular Mario figures are known in public knowledge. However, they keep secret for most of the time, only coming together for some sports like how Mario Tennis worked. The top tennis player got to go to Mushroom World to play against Mario.

(Geno has never visited Earth and isn't a well known figure.)

Sonic can probably go along with this as a separate world (Mobius) connected to modern Earth.
