"Ahhhhh! It didn't work, they're still here," Gurr said.
He tried to grab the nearest Stalchild and throw it into the clump of the undead creatures that he and Lumea had knocked back.
Mantle kept at her task, running along the wall cutting off the arm of any Stal that tried tor each the top of it... and if time would allow it, she would take her bow and take a shot or two at those her companions on the frontlines were fighting.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Lumea rushed to retrieve her shield before the stalchildren could recover. Deciding that for the moment it wouldn't be much help to her, she would retreat back, stowing her shield over her shoulder and readying her spetum defensively, intent to strike any of the stalchildren that came within range, or approached Gurr.
The combined force of Gurr and Lumea's attack managed to knock back a good portion of the Stalchildren, including the ones who were holding onto Lumea's shield. It clattered to the floor with a full thud.
Meanwhile, Tlayok, not familiar with combat, hid worriedly behind Gurr.
