I think he means they're trying to clean the slate for a new crop of creator-based shows... with ratings feed like TTG padding out the schedule.
If you look at the CN schedule on a chart, it seems like TTG is taking up half of it. It's like a full-on spam by some amateur to managed to hack into the network server!
Except for the weekends, which now appears to be the most normal.
Yes, the sheer amount of showings is what I was referring to.
So here I am, half-convinced that this show got cannned over sexual harassment in the workplace. But the great news is that there's an new season coming out next month, starting with an city-wide blackout.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakTeh bad news: This is going to be its final season.
"We be we baby!"To be frank, that's not very surprising, considering the life cycle of cartoons.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakSo guys, how's Clarence? This week of new episodes was great.
I'm still watching Clarence! I gotta say I have a big question in regards to "Karate Mom." In "Patience" we learned that Mary has carpel tunnel in her wrists from cutting hair, but in this episode she was able to chop the wooden board in half. So did her carpel tunnnel go away.. or is it a continuity error?? Hah, I know that seems like a weird thing to fret about but as someone with chronic wrist pain I know I couldn't karate chop ANYTHING... except for a bunch of soap bubbles.
I liked "Public Radio" a lot. I did radio in college. It was fun to see how Clarence and Jeff were in the radio station.
Creator of Heroes of Thantopolis: http://heroesofthantopolis.com/I have been keeping up... So here's some paragraphs from me about it.
[6/5/2017 - 6/8/2017]: "The Stormy Sleepover Special" was some High Tier material for Season 3 (and this show as a whole) IMHO, but the 3 episodes that followed after it were pretty below average, save for "The Boxcurse Children", whose only crime is that it was a bit predictable - still better than "Pool's Out for the Summer", which just felt all over the place, and "The Big Game", which really should have focused on Belson's issue with his dad not being there enough for him (which probably... PROBABLY explains why he's such an ass.). Then again, nothing was really going to top that special that week.
[6/12/2017 - 6/15/2017]: "Karate Mom" was a much needed step up from the middling episodes that occured after "The Stormy Sleepover Special" (Pool's Out..., The Big Game, The Boxcurse Children), IMHO - seeing Mary get positive character development is always nice; however, Clarence felt like more of a nuisance in that effort, only saved when he apologizes by the episode's end.
I was expecting to hate "Clarence Loves Shoopy", after all, Ms. Shoop is pretty unlikable, but ended up being pleasantly surprised with how well they handled it; Ms. Shoop is still pretty unlikable, but at least these writers didn't force her to have a change of heart out of nowhere, which would have been really stupid, IMHO. That, and I did admire Clarence trying to help, even if it was hilarious to see him screw up along the way - surprisingly more than I'm used to.
"Public Radio" is definitely the best of these latest premieres, simply because thanks to Clarence, Jeff actually opens up with his feelings in the setup they're ultimately put in by the episode's end, instead of acting like a smart-ass all the time. Something that should have happened much earlier in this show's run than it did - better late than never, I guess.
"Chad and the Marathon" comes in a close respectable second for best premieres out of this week for me. I was a bit worried with how the writers were going to execute this one; and unfortunately, Jeff was right - although Chad does get serious about doing something, mostly because he didn't want to let Clarence down, Jeff was right that he (Chad) needed much more training for doing what he was getting himself into. Thankfully, these writers handled it much better than I expected them to (knowing who this is focused on.), by not making Chad out to be a total idiot / loser, like any other show likely would this type of character; Chad just didn't have the experience for this. The only thing that holds this one down is that Clarence should not have come off as so lazy as he was written early on in the episode, nor at the end of it when he didn't do his assignment - those two things hold this back from being a perfect episode for me.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.BUMP
Did anyone else watch that Halloween special - Nightmare on Aberdale Street: Balance's Revenge, or are we just forgetting this show exists, now??? Either way, I'm sorry more people don't talk about this show all that much, anymore. AS for me, I thought it was pretty High Tier material for this show, myself - although it could have been a 22 - minute episode, what we got was just fine, IMHO. Better thought out than what We Bare Bears had for its Halloween special, anyway (Unpopular opinion, I know - I don't mind, honestly.).
As for new episodes, the remaining 15 episodes of this series won't be out until 2018... Dammit, CN - what are you waiting on, anyway - sitting on these last 15 episodes??? Come on, now.
One things for sure - as someone who still enjoys the fuck out of this show (despite any / all criticisms I might have with it...), I really hope it goes out with a reasonable enough bang, rather than a mediocre whimper, that's for sure!

New Web Browser, same old Shokew.I love it! It was a good dream battle against Balance even though I don't think he has that kind of power.
"We be we baby!"So according to "Chadsgiving", the show takes place in 1998.
Going to give this bump because its three seasons are on Netflix and there's a question I have to ask
How do people feel about Clarence now?I never watched the show while it was airing but from the clips I've seen it was overall a decent cartoon, little average maybe, characters designs are a little..blocky for my tastes
New theme music also a box
Did we not just discuss the other new shows CN will get on their 2017-18 line-up? It won't just be Teen Titans Go.
