OMG, the wacky Max Fleshier/Walt Disney vibe mixed with modern age tech makes this one hell of a trip. Now I wish every episode of Clarence was like this, and yes this was the final episode Skyler worked on.
TBH, I wonder how he's doing now. Like is he on welfare now?
"We be we baby!"I think this was the first episode that was all Rothbell regarding Clarence's voice, seeing as he sounded a bit different than his "normal" self.
Honestly I don't think we'll know for sure until one of the creators confirms what's going on.
my blogThe trouble is that we can never see the credits for any of these things, they're crammed in a tiny window and just fly by. They should say who voiced Clarence in a given episode.
I do think he sounded a little different this time around, but it was hard to tell if that was part of the audio filter.
That poor fish didn't look so healthy in the reality snap-back...
Tonight's two episodes were the first I saw of the new season.
When did this show get so freakin' weird?
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!We don't know whether or not we're in a new season yet (and all spencer rothbell has to say is that it feels like one long season to him)
my blogTonight's episode was basically a boy and his dog story, and we get a special returning guess star. Boy did Josh really let himself go!
"We be we baby!"Golfish Follies - A God Tier victory for Clarence, indeed. I don't need to say why - just watch it sometime if you can... And remind yourself of why that type of comedy can thrive even today in the right hands.
Chimney - Typical boy and his dog story done horribly right... Just not the best I've sen out of this show so far, but still good in its own right.
That, overall, was one hell of a good week of premieres for this show. So glad I caught them all.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.I liked Chimney better than Goldfish Follies. If this was full Spencer-voiced (how the hell do we find out!?) then we shouldn't have an issue.
It was a realistic portrayal of a dog, which is refreshing. Poor Josh, though.
"Chimney" and "Goldfish Follies" are both fully Rothbell-voiced, it's not that hard to tell since Rothbell's voice for him has a more pronounced lisp, plus he sounds a bit more nasally than Page's take (it's honestly very close to the pilot episode).
What day of the week are they putting new episodes on now. Was it today?
Thursdays (Clarence specifically is at 5:00), just like all the other shows IIRC.

Guess that this was another episode intended before suspended
my blogProbably, given that Page voiced Clarence in this episode. Also, judging from the end of it, Belson is "that kid", if you know what I mean (always trying to one-up people for attention, for instance). Still, very solid episode overall, though I think Clarence really should've stayed home (doesn't he ever really realize he's that deathly sick?).
This episode was hilarious, really had me rolling, especially when Clarence and Jeff were in the cafeteria, and Sumo's calling for help in the background.
Raises some questions about why Mary or Chad didn't notice. This did go overnight, right?
Per this post on Spencer Rothbell's Tumblr, it seems Josh's last name isn't "Maverick" like most thought.
"Dust Buddies" is starting!
"We be we baby!"If I were his mom, i'd beat the shit out of him. Glad i'm not a woman.
"We be we baby!"Agreed, I'd smack the ever-loving shit outta Belson. Like, wow, what a prick, you know? How does Cynthia put up with him?
She probably had an abusive husband/boyfriend during Belson's first years. If anything, her backstory may be similar to Mrs. Cartman's relationship.
"We be we baby!"It was said that Belson's still has a father, he just travels a lot.
This episode felt rather disjointed. The twin plotting made it feel like they didn't have enough of an idea for one, so just joined two halves together. It also didn't go anywhere, really.
Miss, i say.
I actually enjoyed it, because it shows two totally different characters with different outlooks on their lives facing the same challenge. The moms can also be included, because where as Mary uses her knowledge of Clarence to make the job fun for the both of them, Cynthia gains a bit of a backbone and uses manipulation and psychology(Kind of) to make Belson do work and even embarrass him in the end, making it a win. I say this was a great ep.
"We be we baby!"Dust Buddies - Yeah, in conclusion, Belson sucks and always will. His mom definitely needs to beat him more, period.
It's only thanks to seeing some effective compare/contrast to Belson/Cynthia and Clarence/Mary that I didn't outright hate this. Seeing Belson suffer is nice, but simply not what I watch this show for, as much as I love seeing an ass like Belson suffer just for being such a drag on a show I love, like some other characters I know on their fucking shows.....
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.New episode this evening, right? I may just hang out in the lounge where i work for 15 minutes if so, because work ends at five and i could just watch the episode on a real TV for once and go.
"Goldfish Follies" is tonight! Love the old-cartoon vibe this is giving.
