I would think if Marvel were to put the X-Men in the MCU, it would be after the "semi"-retirement of the Avengers. They would be the next superhero team.
Mutants are the next step in human evolution. What if, aside from Wolverine, Magneto and Professor X, there wasn't hardly any genetically super-powered on the planet before Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch? We know some do exist in the MCU after Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. confirmed that they have reports on gifted individuals and have fought a few of them in the past.
The 2020s in the MCU's timeline hold another beginning.
I'll be incredibly sad the day the FoX-Men verse is discontinued. The alternate history they've created is a brilliant bit of world building and I'll be sad to see it come to a halt.
9/11 was caused by Al-Quida terrorists, but who hammed to be mutants of the exploding kind
The FoX-Men Verse is the only world at the moment which inspires me to write fan fiction. I just can't help but imagine protectors of the 'Free Magneto' march, or the life of the mutant who deicided to blow up the Berlin Wall.
Trank did a Q&A. The first trailer is coming later this year, Jamie Bell did mocap work for the Thing (which is part of the reason he was cast), the team will wear costumes, the movie is not a Found Footage film, and it has nothing to do with Chronicle, though it will have a similar tone.

Never mind, it was fake. Y'all got played.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatHmmm good to know.
First look at Doctor Doom's pre-cgi look. Obviously not final.
The big green screen and the faraway camera make Doom look really tiny.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatSomeone should fix this, then.

The Protomen enhanced my life. Why the heck does Doom need to be CG??
Oh dear, they're going for the "Doom being mutated into a dude made of metal" thing again aren't they. Since that worked so well the last time...
It's sadly more plausible/less screen-time consuming than his comic origins. That needed it's own Annual to explain it all.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIron Man's armor is usually CGI when it's actually being worn by RDJ or stuntmen. They don't actually suit people up in armor because that'd be cumbersome and ya know, kinda hard to breathe and act in.

If anyone like me brings up Japan, I'll point out that most Kamen Rider suits aren't actually made out of metal, and neither are the Metal Heroes, ironically.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatPlus, Ultimate Doom was awesome... pre-Ultimatum.
Dr. Doom looks like a freakin' alien.
Nothing like behind-the-scenes shots to show you just how silly things look without CGI.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI'd be more worried that Doom *won't* be CGI. I don't see any signs of CGI markings on Doom, as opposed to the guy standing against him.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comI normal don't mind, but I don't like all the green screen in these shots.
Chronicle was god awful, and this is stated to be in the same tone. We also have a black Johnny Storm and a Mr. Fantastic that looks so fruity that he makes Edward Cullen look manly.
Almost sounds worse than the first two, which is quite a feat.

I thought Chronicle was fantastic. It had more emotional power behind its story than most superhero movies out there. There's too many films where the big action scene at the end is cool to watch but essentially shallow; the big fight at the end of Chronicle was downright painful to watch. Andrew's heavily damaged, in a cast, completely emotionally shattered, and Matt has to keep fighting him and hurting him because otherwise Andrew's going to end up killing people...
Friends ending up fighting each other is a pretty ubiquitous superhero-movie trope, but Chronicle does it better that well-nigh any film in the genre that I can think of.
(And your two other complaints about the film boil down to 1) bigotry and 2) bigotry? Well, then.)

If people are allowed to complain about a white Khan or a white Katara, they're allowed to complain about a black Johnny Storm.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!True.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane. It's like having Mr Mom play Batman or that one guy from Brokeback Mountain playing the fucking Joker.
Those are different situations really.
On the one hand, you're taking one of the few minority roles and casting a white actor.
On the other, you're taking one of the many white roles and casting a minority actor.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersNot at all.

That would just be The Avengers With Wolverine, though.
