It's 5 episodes in and I personally think that it is anime of this winter 2014 season. The English dub reminded me of Medabots, which is good since that I liked its English dub back when I was a teenager.
Anyway, Ryouga is certainly up to something and a higher evil power is plotting something worse. Hopefully the next episode would get a more fleshed out battle.
