Oh man, good point. But it also feels a lot longer for me since I dropped the show so long ago.
One does miss superhero TV series. Things were looking up for the Arrowverse.
And then Arrow Season 4 and Flash Season 3 happened.

Covid is what killed the Arrowverse, really.
They were setting up the Justice League after Crisis....and then were not allowed to do anymore Crossovers.
Then the shows were cancelled, one after another.

To be more specific, Covid hurt the Arrowverse's broadcasting company, the CW, so badly it resulted in them being bought out by Nexstar Media Group who was less interested in catering to the CW's previous target audience, prefering to focus on an older demographic and eventually a more sports-oriented demographic w/ the launch of CW Sports. The sale caused the cancellation of the vast majority of the CW's TV lineup and not just Arrowverse/DC shows.

The TV Show got people to remember John Wesley Shipp's time as Barry Allen and Grant Gustin's still seen to be the better Barry Allen compared to Ezra Miller (even before their controversies happened) that fans keep asking Grant and James Gunn when the former will come back as The Flash.

I'm fairly sure all the major Arrowverse names will make it to the big screen eventually, if only for a cameo.

Unfortunately, on top of everything else what also hurt CW was WB insisting that CW stop licensing their shows to Netflix and license to HBO Max instead which would pay CW lower than Netflix.
A year later, CW was bankrupt and losing money.
And then Zaslav took over and the rest is history.
Flash got a little goofier as time went on, but couldn't quite shake the melodrama off.
