I would actually like Internet Devoe as a thing going forward. Not as a big bad or even necessarily a one-shot villain or anything, but just acknowledged as being out there. It would make Hologram Devoe less of a waste, at any rate.

Harry being dumb to be happy is kinda mitigated by Caitlin and Cisco being brilliant and finding their happiness without being dumb, and Barry by his Idiot Ball moments causing his unhappiness.

Also he’s categorically not dumb, he hasn’t got everything he had but he’s not dumb, he’s also gained a lot of emotional intelligence. He’s got a better ballence.
He traded some INT for some WIS is what I’m saying. That and some Knowledge (obscure physics things) for Knowledge (human emotions and interaction).

It just occured to me that Caitlin's plot didn't get resolved. It didn't even get mentioned in the finale, either, so if it's a hook for the next season it's kind of a weird one.

It kind of did when Cecille temporary channeled Frost to say she found Thomas, whoever that is, but Caitlyn just brushed it to the side for the time being. Clearly that will come up next season though.
It's not like it's the only show to do this either. Zari's plot on Legends about the future was completely forgotten after her focus episode but that will presumably come up next season.
Given how Thawne reacted to Devoe's name in the flashback, Thinker ultimately didn't have much of a negative impact on Barry's life.

Well, he did cause Barry to be imprisoned for a while. Though again, the history Thawne knew is not the current timeline the show is in.
Well, we at least know we have Abra Kadabra to look forward to. Probably not as Big Bad, though.

I rewatched the first episode and they spoiled nora's name in the first episode when barry is babbling and says "nora shouldnt be here" and iris thinks hes talking about his mom

I've seen that video, but haven't watched it.
Someone give me the cliff notes version. No one's had issues with Iris since Season 1, so I'm curious as to what the problem is.
One Strip! One Strip!
From what I gathered:
- Iris being team leader, giving instructions to accomplished scientists and literal superheroes (with at this point years of experience under their belt) is a workable plot point, but it's execution was contrived
- Joe, Caitlyn, and Cisco were better candidates for Team Leader in Barry's absence
- Lack of any character arc for Iris going from a reporter to a leader
- the time skip wasn't a valid substitute
- Iris's actions in Ep 18:
- is constantly finishing people's sentences or taking credit for their ideas
- is suddenly brave enough to jump on a sword to get rid of Marlize

The Flash was my favorite TV show at one point. Having it get Felicity’d is not an attractive option.

Though I really think Mon has improved a lot this season, even if he's kinda segueing back into relationship drama with Kara.
He has had seven years of Character Development, even if it was all offscreen.
