Exposing Your Fanfic

Hello there. So, I've been writing a Fan Fic called 'The Golden Age,' (located here,) which is about a merged Golden Age/WWII era for both Marvel, DC, and some Public Domain characters; it's actually a part of the Marvel-DC Project, which has it's own thread here. Anyway, I'd like to know how to expose my work better; not necessarily how to get people to review it, (I read that thread already,) but just how to get more people reading it. Oh, and FYI: I currently write one new Chapter a day, and have been doing so for the last two weeks; since I'm on break and have no job, I have the time to do this. That will change in a couple weeks, but not just yet; I'm saying this in case anyone wanted to know this later.

You can make a Trope page for it of course.

There's also Fanfiction net, though I would't anticipate the most constructive or critical feedback from there.

DarkLordPotter Forums have a section for other fandoms; you may want to view the rules section first because they're nitpicky there.

Look for... comic book forums in general?

[up]Well, we'll see. I think this series is going to last a while, so I'll look into making a Trope Page. (Gonna' have to learn how to do that.tongue) Regardless of what I do, thanks.smile

Playing Review Tag is another good way. Our thread is a little disused, but fanfiction.net and other dedicated sites have loads.

Don't try to advertise your fic if it is very sexually explicit.

You don't wanna get charged for indecent exposure, do you?

[up]It's not. I mean, there is one 'after-sex' scene, but no 'naughty-bits' are described, nor do we see any actual sex. The only way it could get explicit is if the users really used their imaginations, so in that case, it'd be their fault and not mine.tongue
