Demon's Souls

Parts of the game are much easier than dark souls, although, world 1-1 is always a pain in the ass, and I imagine you had trouble with Mr. Blue Eyed knight at the end of dragon bridge?

Demons has a bit of boss dissonance, World 3 has a nightmarish boss on the second part and World 5 has piss easy bosses to counteract the hell that is the levels. Yeah Tower Knight is an easy boss, but then again, you had to go through DRAGON BRIDGE to get to him. If you want a challenge, try taking him on without killing the archers. Very satisfying to hear half a dozen archers dying at once with the boss.

I think the best representation of why Demons souls is hard would be Flamelurker. He gets cheap around the 25% health mark, spamming his painfully hard to block aoe attack again and again until either you nail him or you die.

Magic in Demon's Souls is completely overpowered. It's already overpowered in Dark Souls except in Dk S it's balanced until you find all the advanced spells, in De S it's overpowered from the beginning because of how strong Soul Arrow is, how easier things are from range as compared to melee and how much you can spam spells with your regenerating MP bar and MP restore items.

Then you get the Des advanced spells like Firestorm and Homing Soul Arrow and yeah.

Also De S tends to have harder levels with easier bosses when compared to Dark Souls (with a couple of exceptions)

Yeah, harder levels, easier bosses is the general trend for Demon's Souls.

I'd say the most difficult level is 4-2 or 5-2. 4-2 has some nasty parts on the ledges and the enemies do very high damage. 5-2 is just a clusterfuck.
