Hermione rolled her window down three-quarters. "{-Yes?-]," she said, then, thinking the woman might be hard of hearing, "Yes?"

"It's my cat, Squeekers, he's stuck up in a lemon tree and I was hoping to find someone who can get him down." The old woman says, rubbing her hands together nervously. "Er, you ARE a vigilante hero, yes?"

Hermione, uncertain as to what she should do, asked Master? Should we help? I mean, is it important enough?

"As far as we know, no one is in immediate danger." Eryc says, then sighs. "Yes, go ahead, rescue the da.... the cat."

Hermione parked the limo, got out and asked the old lady, "Where is your kitty?" then followed her to the tree in question and climbed up.

You have saved Squeeker! Hermione gains 5 favor and the maids returning to the mansion with the poker play should be doing so now. They find the mansion empty, with no sign of Hermione and Eryc.

Hermione and Eryc resume heading for the kosher pork emporium.

Liese frowned. "Oh dear. I wonder where they went to?"

"Hmmm....well...I don't know of any plans by the master to go out today." says Karla looking thoughtful. "It could be our card playing friend's boss decided to move early. Though I think this place would be a bit more of a mess if that happened."

Liese nodded. "Well, we should call them and see what's happened to them. We should probably check the cars to see if any are missing, too."

"Of you could, you know, ask me." suggests the Poker Player.

After spending some time wandering the mansion in search of anyone, Celica breathed out. "Dear, this is getting me nowhere..." Deciding that a more practical search was in order, Celica focused her celestial energy. Her voice echoed through the halls as she commanded, "Summon!"

Light emanated from Celica, a group of ephemeral wings appearing, each pair about two feet long. "Now, let us expedite this search..." Celica would then send her summoned creatures to spread out through the mansion, hopefully discovering somebody somewhere, or any sign of what may have happened.

Celica rolls Will to control and see with her summoned entities, and gets a 16 She will remain in a motionless trance until she ceases her search.

"Good thinking." says Karla, "I'll have a look in the garage. And we could but trusting you would be a bit of a gamble and you know me, I try not to rely on my luck." she shrugs and heads for the garage.

"Spoil sport." the Poker Player mutters.

"What am I starting to smell again?" asks Karla.

Eryc and Hermione arrive at the kosher pork emporium. Hermione can do a luck roll if she wants, but unless she gets 20 or higher, I'm ruling that Eryc and her find no clues.

The other maids find the Wraithmobile is missing from the garage. One maid needs to roll an athletics / luck check to keep the Poker Player from trying to escape while they're distracted; On a roll of six or less, the Poker Player has escaped.
