UhI want this thread to just be for approved characters and game information, separate from sign ups (where people can post tentative information).
Maid the RPG basics:
Before the game starts, you create a character. The character has six attributes: Athletics, Affection, Skill, Cunning, Luck, and Will.
While playing Maid the RPG, your charachter gains (and loses) stress and favor. You gain favor by doing things that please the Master; you gain stress by losing in combat. When your stress reaches the level of your sprit, you suffer a stress explosion until your stress is zero. During a stress explosion, you can only roleplay things involved in your stress explosion. You lose five stress each time you make stress explosion post (but have to wait for it to be responded to before you can post another one).
As the game progresses, you will face challenges and combat.
To succeed at a challenge, you must select an attribute to use that fits the challenge, then roll a six sided die and multiply that by the attribute you chose. If the total is higher then the challenge rating, you succeed.
Example: The master wants a locked door to be opened. Jill has an Athletics score of three. She role plays kicking the door and rolls a five. Her total is then 15; the door challenge was 10. She succeeds and the master awards her two points of favor.
When fighting someone, it is similiar, except your roll x attribute is combared to your opponent's roll x attribute. The loser gets N stress, where N is equal to the winner's total divided by the attribute the loser is using. Sounds complicated, but it's not.
Example: Jill and Jane are fighting: Jill throws a punch (physical = 3 x die roll = 4). Jane slips on a banana peel and sees if she dodges the punch (luck = 2 x die roll = 5). Jill has a total of 12, which beets Jane's 10. Jane takes 12 / 2 (the attribute she used) for a total of 6 stress.
Combat is the same between two players or a player and a NPC, except that most NP Cs don't have a stress explosion to heal stress. Instead, if a NPC has a stress explosion, he passes out (or dies, or whatever is appropriate).
Favor can be thought of as your score, except you can spend favor to do certain things:
- Remove stress (spend 1 favor to remove 1 point of stress)
- Raising attributes (spend N favor, where N is the new level times 10. To go from Athletics 2 to Athletics 3, you would need to spend 30 favor. You can only raise one level at a time)
- Roll bonus (Roll a six sided die and spend that number of points of favor. Add +1 to either your die roll or your attribute, for that action only)
- Random Event (Roll a six sided die and spend that number of points of favor. The GM announces what the random event is.)
If your favor drops below zero, is dismissed by the master. To avoid doing this, a you can lower an attribute by one level. You then recieves a number of favor points equal to the new level times ten. Example: Going from Athletics 3 to Athletics 2 would give you 20 favor points.
Clothing: If your maid uniform takes damage, you receive a penalty to rolling. Basically, for each article of clothing damaged (Apron, blouse, skirt, underwear, stockings) you have to subtract 1 from your dice roll before multiplying by an attribute. The exception is your headdress (or mask/cowl if you are in a vigilante costume), which you have to subtract 2 if it becomes damaged or lost.

Background: A pretty young girl who grew up into a pretty young woman in a family related through several convoluted branches to the Bwaune family, who lived an easy if not rich life in the quiet countryside surrounding Mega City. It was the sort of idyllic life that breeds laziness and incompetence compared to what one would expect of the heroes of this world, but Anastasia possessed in her a natural potency of spirit and empathy that made her always seem like she was intended for more than her environment would allow, even when she was content to lie back and let life come at her, her peers noted that she was far more keen than her easygoing nature ever let on.
She began developing a sense of gender fluidity in her teen years, noting that she felt as comfortable expressing a very well developed boyish side as she did a girlishness. It was in her nature to be capable of acting as both, depending on her daily mood, and in her great amounts of free time she developed a talent for crossdressing to a fine honed point, capable of fooling everything short of thorough (and morally dubious) examinations. She was prepared to live a simple life on her farm, a naïve girl and boy in one, trained only with a whip to herd the cattle and horses...
Her family farm then promptly fell on hard times, and times became so difficult a sort of pseudo diaspora occurred, with the family members going their separate ways to seek greener pastures. Her immediate family moved into Mega City for work, and to ensure she would be provided for, calls were made and she was sent to a distant uncle needing servants... She works there now, known by master and staff for her laid-back yet still competent nature, being kind of a luck magnet, and constantly deciding she's a boy every other day. Or is 'he' a boy trying to be a girl? S/he is maddeningly vague about it, and good enough to make hir gender ambiguous to those s/he works with.
Physical: Anastasia is of average height for a girl, but her facial features are youthful, her eyes are large and expressive and her skin elastic and flawless, her brilliant blue eyes shining with youthful mischief. Her shoulder length sunny blonde hair is tied up into bushy twin pigtails further heightening the childishness of her appearance, her body is definitely lacking on the curves though not the point where it's not clear she isn't a girl. She doesn't even try to change her looks as a vigilante, relying more on her amazing luck to never be recognized in public (she always seems to have a bunch of people about the city who look just like her, as veritable decoys. As if her look is suddenly in fashion).
As Anakin 'he' is equally blasé about keeping a vigilante appearance separate from 'himself'. He becomes short for a boy by a few inches, with very pretty boy features in his face, a lack of manly chiseling and soft feminine features that toe the line between genders very well. The blonde hair is let free and left unkempt, making it look rougher and more boyish. Her curves vanish, and her body, while slender for a boy, is that of her newly assumed gender.

Background: Celica is an angel. From before the first shadows fell, she faithfully served her role; the role of one of the messengers of God. She never doubted, nor faltered in her faithfulness.
However, she also had... anger issues... Apparently an eternity of joy and happiness wasn't enough to keep *all* vices at bay. She was constantly lashing out at various bits of décor, and on one occasion somehow managed to bend the pearly gates into a pretzel. Needless to say, some new arrivals had some questions for management...
Forgiveness is a big thing in Heaven, and no matter what she did, it was never held against her. She even resolved to attend seminars and group therapy with angels who were having similar issues, and human souls who were having trouble adjusting to everlasting joy and happiness. None of it worked.
After a few millennium of trying conventional solutions, Celica decided to try something completely backwards. So, she got permission to go to Earth in mortal form and began working as a maid. The thinking was that if that didn't teach her patience and humility, nothing would. And all of the elder angels agreed that it 'couldn't hurt, right?'. And so began Celica's adventures as the crime fighting maid, Nociel! (She chose the name due to criticism that her real name wasn't 'angelly' enough.)
Description: Celica is tall and slender, holding herself with grace and dignity. Her beige hair is worn long and straight, kept in almost supernaturally impeccable order at all times. Her glorious pure white wings (which she makes no attempt to hide) and the odd, metallic sheen of her uniform give her an otherworldly look. In general, she makes no attempt to hide her celestial origins.
As Nociel, she dons knightly, fantastical armor adorned with red cloth and a golden mask which conceals the upper portion of her face. She is capable of summoning incarnations of her full celestial power which manifest as disembodied wings of pure, golden light. These incarnations are merely extensions of her metaphysical form, and can theoretically be damaged which would be much the same as damaging Celica/Nociel's mortal form. The incarnations typically attack by strafing enemies, though other techniques may be possible.

Her second appears the same from the waist up, though she sprouts a large, white snake tail in place of her legs, and her eyes change so that the entire eye becomes red and her pupil becomes slit. In addition, her ears become pointed, a pair of birdlike fairy wings sprout from her back, her tongue becomes forked and long, and snake-like fangs sprout out of her mouth. When she becomes stressed, parts of her secondary form appear in her first, mostly the eyes, fangs, and tongue. Her third form is a large, silvery snake with red eyes, and fairy wings, though the wings are normally folded back, as they are rather sensitive.
- Background: Liese was originally a snake-fairy, who was captured by magical poachers shortly before the events of the RP. The poachers were found by the resident heroes a little while later trying to sell their wares, and Liese was found unconscious inside a refrigerated box (as a snake, cold naturally makes her sluggish and dazed.) She was then adopted as a ward/employee of the manor.

Physical Description: Generally fairly normal looking if a bit pale as long as she keeps herself well covered to hide the several bullet holes she's acquired both from her original death and the messier confrontations of her current vigilante job. Her hair is also always styled so that the sides of her face are covered. As Necrona she wears a black leather overcoat with spiked shoulders and a skull design on the back over an armored black bodysuit. She also has what most people think is a rather disturbing detailed mask of a skinless face (but actually her face is removable). She always wears several identical blue gem studded earrings in both ears, one of which is her power source (or at least that's what she tell everyone) Background: Like Eryc Karla is also an ex member of the League of Darkness, but her attempt at defecting didn't go as well, leading to her death and resurrection as a undead assassin (the removable face being due to the Necromancer having an oddly literal definition of a faceless assassin), still capable of independent thought and with some will of her own but not able to resist commands given by her assigned master (and with her memories of her original life being rather like swiss cheese at this point). Assigned to Eryc's forces during his days trying to destroy Mega City she soon developed a strong loyalty to him, and when he switched sides she naturally followed. Unfortunately she hasn't really gotten the hang of this "hero" thing yet and a few lingering side effects of the resurrection progress tends to cause her to come across as more creepy and trigger happy then anything else.

However she has carried from her family the strategies of keeping out of sight and not speaking up although this doesn't mean she's lazy, she does her job adaquetly if not spectacularly. However when she does want something she's very good at getting it either by crying or by acting like a brat and throwing a tantrum until she gets it. In addition to her fangs and because she thinks of herself as weaker than she actually is she carries a revolver. because of her nature she much prefers night duty and while she doesn't feed on humans except in combat she likes her food live, which is another reason she shies away from the other girls.

Story:
In his youth, Eryc Bwaune was part of the League of Darkness, a cult of assasins, slavers, and bandits who trafficked in everything from stolen merchandise to drugs and slaves. He grew in power in the cult and learned many skills, including various forms of physical combat and several mystical and magical skills. In his thirties, he was sent to Mega City to establish a new chapter of the League of Darkness. During his early days in the city he was caught in battle with police, In order to escape, he leapt through a plate glass window and fell several stories. While healing, he found religion and vowed to save Mega City, the very city the League of Darkness had sent him to destroy. His training in the cult had given him impressive physical fighting skills and mystical abilities to cloud and warp people's minds. In addition, his former work with the League had given Eryc much insight into political dealings, where many politicians regard him as the real power in the background of Mega City's government.
Unfortunately, the years of first vice and then battling for good have taken their toll on Eryc. Now in his fifties, he is a bald, heavily scarred man no longer able to fight in the night. He must rely on his maids, both to assist him in his mansion and to protect Mega City.
When stressed, he retreats to pray and meditate, trying to purge the evil he still knows lurks in his soul. Eryc's favorite maid type is pure, seeking to counter the darkness within himself.
