Yeah but it's taking a second swipe at it once it closed without it really being a continuation to get a better idea of consensus, I'm not sure that's exactly right either.

to Madrugada's take on the concept in the OP; I'm still not 100% sold on it but it does work well enough to use.
I didn't mean that as a criticism, sorry. Just: that is part of the case made in the OP. "I think we should keep talking about this" is way different from "let's talk about this again, I don't like the previous conversation".
