Were I worldly enough to capture the personalities of the Black Lagoon crew - from Revy's supposed nihilism, Dutch's apathy, Benny's wisdom, or Rock's business guile turned deadly negotiation technique, I'd write a fic were Ginji and Yukio survived or at least avoided the battle with Revy and went onto getting involved with the events of Roberta's Blood Trail. I like fics where characters who weren't there before throw a logical wrench into things. I'd somehow get them mixed up in Roberta's path.
My action scenes would be weak though; I know precious little about guns beyond chamber/ammo/cartridge/hammer/reload/recoil, and guns are a thing in this series. Revy even has the pirate metaphor with her guns being called "cutlasses".

I remember doing a fic where Yukio lived, but Ginji died. I had to make an OC to make it work. But the reception is not bad anyway. I was afraid that he might have been Gary Sue all the way.
Although I'm thinking of doing a comeback by expanding on his background and his relationship to Yukio.
