Not a bad idea, IMO.
Putting side-by-side any two images (one for the mook, the other for its alpha) should do the job.

Without knowledge on what the normal goblins look like, you can't tell that's a King Mook just by looking at it.
Perhaps put it alongside a picture on what a normal Goblin looks like.
