So Kureto's goal in life is world conquest.
There's a storm on the horizon. Things are gonna go down in Nagoya.
Wonder what the reason Krul left Yu and Mika alive is. Maybe she's starting her own rebellion.
The new episode's titled "Shinya and Guren". Smart move, since they left out the "Gets the Crap Kicked Out of Them" part.
But yow, Crowley's mighty strong indeed. And Guren's combat record hasn't been good at all.
Knew Shinoa had a good plan...except Crowley eats good plans for breakfast. Yu's in for a world of hurt...
Well things really went a bit trippy and over the top towards during the final battle with angels, demons and all kinds of weird stuff happening. I would have liked to say that Krul would be missed but she didn't get anything near the development I would have liked.
Overall, while this second season had some reasonable moments (the King of Salt vs. Abaddon for instance) the first season was better. They have left things open for another series and I would be interested to see what happens from here.
The production values didn't tank like a Tiger-2 this time around, so that's automatically a big improvement, and Crowley is a pretty creepy, unusual villain - he's basically evil Goku, with all of the monstrous strength and friendly, happy-go-lucky attitude but none of the conscience. Also, it was neat that Yu's Seraph form ended up with one of the really weird Biblical superpowers, rather than something generic like fire or lightning.
What's precedent ever done for us?And it's done. That finale sure was bombastic! And chaotic. And it gave me an urge to get back to completing my SMTIV Neutral Path run.
All in all, this season was a good improvement over the last. Some ramblings:
- To me, the Most Valuable Character this season was Shiho. He had some good moments. And despite having the same amount of screen-time as the rest of Team Shinoa, it was clear that Mitsuba didn't receive a lot of focus. Shame.
- Seraph Yu is unique in the sense that he's using salt in the Biblical sense. Awesome.
- Ferid's one opportunistic dastard, huh?
- As of this moment, Crowley's the best vampire. And I don't think he'll ever be topped.
- Krul mentioned something about making a promise to Mahiru. Wonder what that's all about...
- Mika's a part of Team Shinoa. Maybe he'll now start seeing humans in a better light. Or not.
- Narumi's tagging along, too. After what happened to his team, why not. Poor guy.
- Has Guren permanently turned to the Dark Side?
So yes, my interest in the manga is piqued like hell.

Wat...
That's how Krul possibly died this might be worse than Esdeath's defeat in Akame Ga Kill anime ending...
New chapter is out.

Mileena MadnessShe's not dead. She's captured. Manga recently released and things went down mostly the same but with Yu being held captive by his friends likely for his own good.
Also the short novel about Michaela's name goes into Crowleys backstory and that the name Michaela doesn't originate from Michael. Crowley was a knight in the Crusades by the way and was religious before he got involved in that.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Images from the next chapter confirm she's alive or rather undead and well actually not really. :P
Mileena MadnessChapter 46 where Yuu and Mika are confronted by Crowley and Ferid who had Akane's head reminds me of this.
Oh man I forgot this thread event existed.
A LOT has happen since the old day of nearly a decade ago in this thread.
Amongst other things humans are reincarnated souls of angels, everyone keeps going Utopia Justifies the Means in how they plan on reviving everyone they care about(Shikama plans on restoring everyone back into angels in defiance of God and ALSO created humanity where their souls reside), Yuichirou is actually Shikamas reincarnated son Mikaela and Mikaela is actually Shikamas familiar Yu, Shinoa reveals herself to be a Yandere who wants to kill Mikaela to make Yu hers, Guren planned on sacrificing Mikaela(as in Yu because he saw Yu’s and Mikaela’s Past-Life Memories) to revive people he cares about for good and has killed numerous relatives of the other characters so they will go along with it(their willingness to do so leading Yu to abandon everyone for Mika), the vampires finally know their past as the most trusted angels of Shikama (the demons don’t know they’re angels yet) who all died and Shikamas attempt to revive them in defiance of God, and Ferid reveals himself to be an Omnicidal Maniace who plans on ending the cycle and is using Shinoa being an unhinged yandere to his ends.
Funny enough the manga also got a lot gayer with subtext as well between Yu and Mikaela.
In fact the Title Drop finally happened. Seraphof the End is how Ferid plans on everyone dying a final death for good.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
The new episode sees Yu and Kimizuki train to bring out the powers of their weapons while Yoichi was able to do it naturally (they did mention last season that he had a high resistance to demons so it is good to see that hasn't been forgotten). Also it appears loli queen is hiding things from the other vampires and Ferid is taking advantage of this.
