Looking at it a cleanup does seem in order, an awful lot of ZCEs around and seemingly you can read a homoerotic subtext into everything. As for the trope itself, it's a thing but probably could do with better rules for what makes an example. Not sure no examples is right though, it is a common goto source for humour and a valid audience reaction.

This page is misused so much.
It's like making a "SHIT CHARACTERS" page and allowing every example none to man allowed i n.
EDIT: Hmm...you're right actually. It should have examples but...it should just be cleaned up. I've seen a lot of example that are either ridiculously stretched, or just finding homo in normal strong friendships.It needs to be cleaned up. I agree it's fun for a laugh, but when people start listing everything in any friendship that's ever existed between two guys/girls, that's when it stops being funny, and goes onto being annoying and a page misuse.
