Well, the short ended before we could find out properly, to be fair.
Although, it is interesting that a DRAGOON constantly emitting a beam blade at close-range can literally peel off NL armoured parts at the right angle. Also Bael vs II Neo Zeong made me laugh.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...A nice little short that takes place after Re:RISE. Naturally, they showed off some of the newer kits.
Did they? I think they just were going with Protag kits. The only newer kits there were the year old Destiny and arguably the Wing Zero if you count the fact it's getting a new MG (since this was 1/144, not 1/100). The II Neo Zeong is sorta new but since it's not for sale it's not really being advertised.
I'm... still annoyed about how Trans-Am is just a straight up powerup. Aside from finding it visually boring (after images are nice, but the trans-am colorscheme never looks good to me), the entire thing making it interesting in 00 is the fact that it's an all-or-nothing gambit. It adds strategy, not removes it.

Okay, I don't keep up with all the Gunpla coming out, I was using the actual anime as a reference.
And, yeah, of course it would make sense Trans-Am would be treated more as a straight power-up in GBN because... well, it's a video game.

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...I don't think those are even in production anymore. Though the Bael was just a weird choice in general. A surprise, to be sure. But a welcome one. Would've liked to have seen the Origin HG, though.
I could actually be inclined to count the Wing Zero though since the first episode of Re Rise was blatantly advertising the new MP Alex despite ostensibly being an HG since it had an MG-exclusive gimmick.
And... yeah. It's a video game. There's no shortage of video game abilities that have downsides.

He tends to use machines that are graceful but masculine, and just a little bit sinister. I bet he's the sort of guy who always goes for the token Sissy Villain character in fighting games.

What's precedent ever done for us?The only other suit we've seen Magee use is his Love Phantom, so I doubt there's many more Suits that can fit that criteria.
Now that I think about it, would Tallgeese work, maybe?

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Tallgeese is large and bulky so probably not.
Strike Rouge IWSP would probably work, but really would probably be considered too similar to his Love Phantom (since the Love Phantom is based off of the Strike Freedom and the Noir Striker Pack, aka the IWSP's successor).
Maybe a Slash ZAKU Live Concert Version?
I could see him in Black Joker, too.

I know it makes sense for the rules, but man.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...
I guess this episode answered my question about who would win: a nanolaminate armour-equipped Gundam vs a PS-armour equipped Gundam inconclusive
