Just wondering, which do you think is more difficult to write?

What do you mean by brain teasers? A story that provokes thought? I expect that would be much harder than drama.

I write stuff sometimes. I also sometimes make youtube videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/majormarks

I kind of referred to mentally challenging problem/puzzles. In these cases, it's usually witnessing the impressive tricks the characters use to pull through but can also get the audience anticipating as well. I guess it can be considered thought provoking is a way but maybe not how you meant.

Thought provoking in a way that raises discussion can be an extension of drama, which it uses as a foundation. It's mainly done by leaving ambiguity about subjects where a direct answer isn't necessary, maybe due to it already being subtly answered. That along with some implying how something is to lead people off, without actually inferring it, like using Informed Ability or Informed Flaw.

Help?.. please...

My boring opinion is that difficulty depends on writer. Some are good at drama and for some making brainy things is a breeze.
