Any word on a Japanese dub yet? And if so, can we please have the switch between audio option be DLC?
Nope. No word. There's a option to turn the English voices off though so you can just imagine the voices in your head.
I would still give it a chance however. So you don't have to read the subtitles which can distract from the game.
Hm, yeah. Might want to try listening to them it firsthand, don't want to seem too brutal by not listening to see if they are good, eh?
So there are new images of the (possibly) intro of Mighty No. 9 here! [1] Looks interesting to play...Can't wait to have it on my system next month!
(As for the comments...why has people that prefer plot/gameplay over graphics become a rarity? Seems like most of the others prefer graphics over everything now...)

I forgot is this digital only? Because if so I'm going to be upset as that means I can't get it.
Yep, it's digital. But I did hear somewhere from the official homepage that they're planning to make other ways to get it...
It'll probably get a physical release if its successful in digital. Maybe. Possibly. I don't know.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireDamnit. I want the 3DS version but their digital store never works for me.
Inafune's other project has been canceled.
"In 2012, Keiji Inafune and his studio Comcept announced that they were developing a 3DS game called Kaio: King of Pirates, but that project has now been canceled, publisher Marvelous has announced.
Marvelous announced the news in a press release (translated by Siliconera), where it also revealed that it lost around $3.8 million on the project."
The Protomen enhanced my life.Bummer.
Though I'd like to believe that a resurrection is possible if MN 9 ends up being great.
I... was planning on buying that game...
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI wonder what went wrong in that project to make them lose that much money...
I don't know myself, but now the almost $4 million raised by the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter campaign seems to be a rather interesting coincidence.
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life! It's not surprising at all that that pirates game was cancelled. Was there even hype for that game? I remember it being announced around the time of Mega Man's nonexistent 25th anniversary celebration, and, like, about a thousand people heard about it, myself included.
Maybe Inafune will pick it back up if this game succeeds?
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Never heard about Kaio before but it looks like something I'd enjoy. Shame it got cancelled. Hopefully Mighty No. 9 stays on track.
Does Mighty have a definite release date locked down yet? All I've heard so far is vague mentions of "April", but that's it.
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!Nope. Probably will have a number date when we reach next month.
A preview of some of the voice acting.
A couple of clips from Beck, Pyrogen, Cryosphere and Dynatron.
Note: these are apparently early on and some don't appear in the game.

Hm, everyone sounds okay...Except Dynatron. Comcept, please. (Cyrosphere sounds really cute.)
Dynatron sounds fine to me.
I imagined up a gameplay style for Beck that was very Xel-centric. Basically he has both Xel count and Energy. More Xels = more energy capacity. If he runs out of either he dies. Some enemies will do damage to either his component Xels and others will drain his energy, and some of them will hit both at the same time. Some attacks/weapons are super-powerful, but require you to feed them xels or energy or both.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!
