It's Sym-Bionic Titan and yes there was a thread on it a while ago.
I liked the series very much and was sad to see it cancelled without a resolution to the main plot. But that happens a lot to cartoons without a successful toy line tie-in these days.
What you pointed out - is exactly why I feel Western Animation is going to die a painful death at the end of this decade; in the near future - no one will be able to afford things like toys that "keep these shows running", anyway with how bad things are going. No amount of excuses can mask that truth. Ever.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.The marketing strategy for Western Animation is pretty broke. Action figures and toys like these shows create are not as popular as they were- families that can afford a lot of toys are more likely to buy electronic devices as toys (yes, kids get iTouches in upper middle class families). Plus you can't advertize for the show's toys while said show is airing, and that's assuming that toy companies like Mattel actually bother making the toys, especially since they seem to believe that females shouldn't become toy figures.
Why can't they use just ads to support animated shows like they do with live action shows?
My AO3Seeing as we already have a thread about this show, shouldn't we go ahead and lock this one?
Or lock the old one, since that thread doesn't seem to have been active in a while.
My AO3
Hello,I seen that that there was no conversation about Sym-Bionic Titan so I decided to start one.So I starting re-watching the series the other day and I must say it's pretty good.Sadly it was cancelled like a lot of other cartoons on Cartoon Network. So,who's seen it? Anyone have any thoughts on the series as a whole?
