To boot, Morrison brought the original back too, so right now they are coexisting in the same universe.
What hasn't Morrison brought back?
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsThe dinosaurs.
I thought Montoya becoming a lesbian was something they added to her much later, when she became the Question. You know, like how they made the "big reveal" that the original Green Lantern was gay?
Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm legitimately curious because I thought Montoya becoming the Question was cool, but I've never followed any major DC storylines beyond Wikipedia.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Montoya being "outed" (or retconned) took place in the Gotham Central series. The scenes we'd seen of her dating men in earlier books were explained as "in the closet due to parents."
Her becoming the Question was considerably later in the 52 series. That series also retconned her as having been Kate Kane's lover at some point never shown on panel.

So when is this supposed to be released?
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsSome time next year.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Wow, they sure all look...
... buff.
Batman's head sure is tiny.
Holy fuck, that looks silly.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again. Is batman wearing an old timey cast iron stove under his costume or something?
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsI think he must have gotten dosed by some venom last fight with Bane.
Eh. Supes and GL I don't really mind. It's Batman that looks the most ridiculous.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! It's all that New52 crap. It's seeping out of the comics and into the movies and cartoons (Man Of Steel and now this.) Sigh.

I think the effects of Timm leaving are starting to show up, too.
Honestly, this is what I always hated about comics art styles. I get that the characters are suppose to be "idealized humans", but they need more than one body frame. This is one area that Marvel actually does beat DC in as far as character designs go (though they're both guilty of only having one body type for females.)

is it just me, or does Supes' shield look a little small in comparison to his torso?
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.New 52 Superman's armor design is usually drawn with a smaller S. It's sculpted that way on his action figure, as well.
At least Supes looks better than he did in Vs the Elite. He looked so dumb there.
Or the ridiculous design of his face in Superman Doomsday.
NYCC footage is up.[1]
I thought they said they weren't doing any more adaptations. Can we finally get The Killing Joke?
Nope, both characters are Katherine Kane- they just have different nicknames (Kathy, Kate). Admittedly the new one is very different from the original, and may have been intended as a lesbian from the start, but even in that case it's STILL a reboot of an existing character concept: Batwoman. And as silly as the original might have been, at least she was more unique compared to the modern one who is basically just Batman with tits. Why they felt they needed to create such a character when the Batman mythos already had a great lesbian character (det. Montoya, who herself was forced into another male hero's role -The Question's- is anybody's guess.) The whole affair was handled poorly in my opinion.
