As someone who was born in the 90's and consequentially didn't watch 80's or 90's cartoons until I was a teenager, I can say Thundercats, He-Man, and Transformers were not very good.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseHe-Man was awesome, okay? >.>
It does make for an interesting fight.
Oh, wait.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI agree, the He-Man reboot was fuckin' AWESOME.
My various fanfics.Wait, why does He-Man have an Obviously Evil origin for his superpowers?
Just because Greyskull looks evil, doesn't mean the Power is evil.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI like how this thread went from being about the Godzilla reboot to Grayskull.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseIt's the 80's. Of course it does. Dark Is Not Evil wasn't invented until the 90's.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
We don't have anything else to talk about for the movie right now, really...
Watch SymphogearYou know, what I loved about the godzilla series was three things. One, it had good characters and a fun storyline. Two, the monster designs were made of Awesome. And three, they gave Zilla Jr NUCLEAR FIRE BREATH.
I recently discovered that and it was AWESOME!

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseYou know, if Godzilla showed up in Attack on Titan, many of the beasts would die of radiation poisoning... Or mutate into cancerous abominations.
I'm optimistic that Legendary Pictures will make Godzilla's atomic breath alone warrant a Nightmare Fuel entry on the movie's trope page.

So I just learned that in spite of being awesome Pacific Rim bombed, and that giant monster movies usually bomb, and unless Godzilla has absolutely spectacular writing it's probably going to bomb too. I'm sad now.
Godzilla would kick the ass of any titan.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI found the best easter egg yet from the MUTO console: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bb4MBKhCcAEzX2B.png:large
Yeah I saw that one a while back. It is awesome.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsPacific Rim didn't bomb, it just didn't make it's money back on USA alone. But USA box office only made up 25% of it's box office.
So it did make a profit then? That's good. Is 25% as low as it sounds?
25% is 1/4.

Actually kind of shitty when you go back and rewatch them.
They have a cheesy charm but no depth whatsoever and are only fondly remembered now because of nostalgia.
