Ah. So, watched the latest episode, and noticed how much this show really does share with Gargoyles. It's darker, more suspencful scenes including Bob the Tatsuryan really bring back memories of when Goliath beat the shit out of Xan's robot henchmen or whatever.

The correct phrasing is "they," but "he" will do.

The Choten immediately made me think of Van Kleiss, and now Xanatos.

I'm glad this show is getting a lot more notice now. Definitely one of the best mon shows I have ever seen.

It's more like a part-mon, part-Teamo Supremo kind of deal for me.

My thoughts after watching today's episode:

"WE ARE ALISON!"

Me too, they really need to start rerunning episodes for this show.

Anyone else getting the impression that Megaria's interest in Allie may be because she really is her mother? She keeps saying how Allie's such a prodigy with Darkness and Rai the 'Natural' apparently got his talent because the circumstances of his birth were conncted to the creature realm. Stuff like saying Allie was 'born to it' and the fact that Piper makes a big deal of how bright it is in the old video of Allie's birthday seems really suspicious.

[up]I was wondering the same thing. The fact that Megaria can change her appearance almost at will and that she doesn't seem to mind being in the human realm adds credence to the theory. Add that in to her odd obsession with Alison, and the fact that she's never really hurt her...

Finally got to watch the newest episode through other means. I honestly think that Allison would be a more formidable opponent if she just summon other darkness creatures other than Squeaky all the time.

It's a common thing in Mon shows. It was obvious that Pokemon's main Pikachu was a boy, but Ash is too much of a douchnozzle to notice in most episodes.

Things have definitely gotten interesting the last few episodes. And it may just be me, but Squeaky seems to be doing better in battles as of late, lasting longer and making good contributions.

I have decided That this series has less flair than Digimon Xros wars ever had. Sorry.

[up]Haven't seen that series, so I'll take your word for it. I do think that Kaijudo is a pretty good show; to me, the characters react in (mostly) realistic ways to events. The fighting is still a little weak, but that seems to be improving, though that may just be my opinion.

Latest episode was interesting. Alakshmi is a fascinating character to me: she continually helps the protagonists, yet none of them, except for Raiden, trust her or like her at all. Though the fact that she's pretty upfront about not being their ally and the fact that she's only on her side probably has a lot to do with it. I was surprised that she dismissed Moorna and actually came back for the Armored Duelist; she has a lot of honor for an antagonist.

So now what will she and her friend do? All she seems to want at this point is revenge on August aka the Choten.
