Yeah, it's the only He-Man series I've actually watched so far. (Well, and people are always sharing silly clips from the original series with me, too.)
I have seen both versions and liked them, for the most part. And now there's a THIRD version coming, I hear!
Fourth, actually.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatCue Edmond Dantes' anti-2002-pro-1980s rant coming up in one, two, three...
The fuck does the count of monte cristo have to do with a cartoon?
No, it's the screen name of another poster in these boards.

Is it that guy with the protagonist from G Gundam as his avatar that whines about everything?
I remember enjoying this reboot back in the day; i enjoyed the visuals, the stories, the fight sequences, i even collected a few of the action figures to boot. But nowadays, looking back, this show falls into the category of shows where i wish the main character was treated with a bit more respect. Prince Adam never got any respect from Teela or his father and i just find that kind of sad, which tends to keep me from remembering why i enjoyed this show. Also, it makes me wonder how is Adora's personality in comparison to her brother's?
I did not like this show when I first saw it, too Aesopy. Between GI-Joe and Captain Planet though I now appreciate what it did and do not find its any Aesop it put forward nearly as forced or patronizing.
Now my only real complaint against it (besides unavoidable kid friendly tropes) is the overuse of Strong as They Need to Be. I do not mind so much when it is He-man, but when it extended to Skeletor, Evelyn, Marzo and Zodak it got to be too much. Twobad was probably my favorite character or at least favorite villain.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackSomething I never got was how a guy with less then a dozen warriors would be considered a threat. I mean Randor had an army, the only explanation is the Evil Warriors were Elite Mooks, but they never really displayed anything that indicated that.
Yeah, the good guys have an actual army, but Skeletor just has like a dozen people. One episode (I think it was when Teela was able to read minds) had a huge battle around Greyskull taking pace, but it didn't seem like it was army against army, just army against Skeletor's group.
Wait, Skeletor did not have an army? Okay, he had the "serpenators" and "shadow beasts", which were next to useless when it came to invading things, but he did storm Randor's castle in the first episode right? That implies he had...never mind.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI assume Skeletor's gang of toughs were more than a match for the Eternian army, which is why we have the Masters in the first place.
Now, if they'd gotten to Hordak, then we'd have an evil army.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI repeat, i feel sorry for Adam, as he was always hounded by Teela and Randor. True, maybe he was a bit of a slacker at first, but does getting on someone's case really solve anything in the long run?
Also, i repeat, how would you say Princess Adora's personality is in comparison to Adam's
I felt sorry for Adam too, I would have loved it if him revealed he was He-Man during the fight with the Council of Evil in front of Grayskull. "You want the Power of Grayskull Skeletor? Well too bad because I ''already'' have the Power!"
I have fond memories of this show from when I was younger, and my interest in it has come back after finding it on Netflix and watching a bunch of episodes. Anyone else remember this?
