Wow... I think that I remember playing a DOS demo of this game ages ago... I seem to recall somewhat enjoying it.
I didn't know that it hadn't been released.
While I don't think that it's to my taste these days, it's really good to see again something for which I have such nostalgia, and to see it returning. ^_^
My Games & WritingWell, that's unexpected. I played the DOS demo too and actually liked it. I'm not sure whether I'd like it now, though.
Actually, I think it got released. Not on Amiga or PC, but on a console. I forgot whether it's SNES or Genesis.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Wikipedia claims that it was released for the SNES, but that the intended ports — DOS included — were never published, I believe.
My Games & WritingWhy the heck its being remade on PS 3 and Xbox 360 anyway? Seriously, why does every game that could as well be on Wii U as well doesn't get released there?
It is coming to Wii U. And Vita. Just noticed the two logos at the end of the vid.

Jonah FalconOh, okay, thats more logical
This is good and all for the people who have nostalgia for the Amiga (that is, absolutely nobody in the US), but this is still a really, really odd game to remake. I mean, how many people are even aware of this game? I just feel like there's so many other computer platformers that need a reboot or a remake first. Like Jazz Jackrabbit.
Also, didn't these guys try to reboot Last Ninja back when the XBOX was new?
"Great Scott! Send in the Doomsday Squad!"I beg your pardon. I was an Amiga fanatic who lasted til 1995 (had a PC in 93, tho.) Of course, it was the Amiga version of Railroad Tycoon that kept me with the machine.
Jonah Falcon
The highest rated game never released on the Amiga.
Bizarre story, but now it's being remade and rereleased on PC, 360, PS 3.
