Freeciv, eh? I played around with it for about 5 seconds before getting somewhat overwhelmed by the myriad of textboxes and dropdown menus. I should probably try it again sometime.

I've played it before, since I'm a bit of a Civaholic, but for whatever reason I never really got into me. There's nothing wrong with it I could put my finger on, but for some reason it didn't really "connect" with me the way the mainline Civilization games did.
