That voice-over sounds more like it belongs in a parody of Dinosaur.

Seems a lot like another documentary called March of the Dinosaurs, albeit in 3d.

(also, the Walking With franchise really seems to hate feathers on nonavian dinosaurs for some reason)

................... whut.

... if this isn't a sequel to Dinosaur, why does it look, feel, and move exactly like it?? You say this is based on a book?? Then how come it just looks like a clone of another movie that shut down a studio?? What's going on?!?!?

It's expensive/hard to make realistic 3d feathers?

The original BBC documentary series holds the Guiness for the most expensive budget-per-minute of a documentary ever. ... and this film can't afford to animate feathers?

TV shows don't have much of a budget.

Maybe they ate all the CGI feathers?

[up][up] It needs to be that in order to attract a younger demographic, They believe that if it was like the original series, only Paleo-enthusiasts and possibly Nostalgic twenty somethings would watch it. Kids today were too young to remember/Not even born yet to watch the original Walking with series.

I saw the live show, which keeps fairly close to what I remember of the original, and there were lots of little kids there who seemed to enjoy it.

I was excited for this movie, now there's a new trailer; apparently the lead dinosaur talks; with a "cool hip guy" voice. sad

...... no.

The dinosaurs talk in this?

You're joking.

...damn. Why couldn't they recruit Kenneth Branagh again?

This movie is going to succumb to Chimpanzee syndrome: beautiful footage and scenery ruined by an obnoxious narrator.

I'm not sure how to insert vidoes, but here's a link to the trailer where the main dinosaur talks https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cbXhcE63sG0

Oh. From all of your reactions, I had thought they put a black dude's voice in the mind of the main character!! :O Instead we get male!Sara.

And his mouth doesn't move when he talks! ..... you know what? It's not even talking- this is a NARRATION. What is it with putting a voice-over on an animal that clearly can't talk?! It looks like an after-thought!
