Finally finished it. I cheesed Ouroboros by using Giant's Drafts to push my party's HP past 10k and just spamming Megalixirs while giving him everything my group had.
Just realized a pretty substantial plothole regarding Edea and Alternis.
The two apparently grew up together, but she's never seen his face before?
He really likes his helmet.
I have a message from another time...And Edea is REALLY bad with faces.
One explanation is that after Alternis fell into the lava, his face got seriously messed up, and he basically received cosmetic surgery from Victor...
BUT that makes precisely 0 sense, because then Alternis' face being revealed shouldn't look the same as Ringabel's.
So, there you go.
Remember how young Edea is. She's 15 or 16(JP version) while he's 20 or 21(JP version). He's probably not seen her since he was 15 and joined the army.

There's that much difference?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.No, he was 18 in the JPN version, 21 in the West.
I have a message from another time...Yep I was wrong. He was 18 and she was 16. So unless he joined the army earlier than she(she did it at 15 IIRC) later did they haven't seen each other for around 3 years.

So is Alternis being 23 a result of the aging up, an error, or what? Ringabel's age isn't listed anywhere in D's Journal for reference.
Just to clarify, Ringabel/Alternis are 20 in the Japanese version, but Ringabel thinks he's 18. It's... odd, but there ya have it. o_o

People on the lower end of 20 years old can easily pass for someone on the upper end of teenhood.

Evidently his descent to wannabe dandyhood made him take off a couple of years.
Makeup.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Either that, or Edea never paid attention to Alternis.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Sempai did not notice.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Kouhai.
I have a message from another time...Well Edea is a kouhai, the meme is "I hope sempai will notice me!"
Man. From all the different speech combos and the fact that all 23 asterisk holders have a unique final speech during the gauntlet, it would take at least 4 different attempts of the Eternian gauntlet to see all of that particular sequence's dialogue.
And that's not getting into the retreat battles earlier or other odd incidents of context sensitive speeches.

My favorites are Einheria's "You've grown strong, Edea. I almost forgot it was you." and (while not the final word) Kamiizumi's "What joy! Your growth far outstrips what I had anticipated!"
Both being very fitting, since my Edea is a nightmarishly powerful Dark Knight.
I have a message from another time...Jackal's made me sad enough to go back and finish someone else last, instead. During the endurance I beat Einheria instead - seemed a little more appropriate. Incidentally, my Edea's an Arcanist using that Poison strategy mentioned earlier here. Between that and Inquity, I'm convinced magic's not all that bad after all. It just takes a bit more planning than Rage in everything's face.
Rage takes plannning. To use it at the 20X maximum, I pretty much have 3 members of my party set up to make it happen.
I have a message from another time...For optimal performance, sure, but you can just slap on a Drain and toss it out and do better than most other setups anyway.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.To be fair, I don't think there's anyone else I would take down first.
Profiteur is way too dangerous to leave alive, with his BP drink spam. Between Einheria and Jackal, she spends too much time in the air for me to really DPS, meaning that Jackal gets the full brunt of my power.
Really not that tricky.

If anyone remember that Praliné a la Mode song (here there be spoilers of course for those who don't want them) that's in Bravely Second, here is it's opposite, sung by Hayreddin Barbarossa. Spoilers obviously (both in the name and in the comments).
All I have to say to this is that this will be a very hi-larious scenario.
EDIT: The best pagetopper! THE BEST! I will hear no suggestions as to the opposite!
