I've never been able to bring myself to unequip the Blood Blade. For some reason, the first time I used that trick, it killed the character. Maybe it was against an undead enemy, but that doesn't change I won't do that again.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. On the other hand, it also meant you could be a class or take a skillset you normally wouldn't even consider (or you want to use, but wouldn't due to it not being considered as good as some other options) and go to town with the right setup on it.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Favorite boss?
...can I say Jobmaster Gauntlet?
I have a message from another time... Good point. Efficiency isn't everything.
Ditto.
Favorite Boss? Ominas Crowe. He's the only Jobmaster we fight who regularly upgrades his skillset to more powerful stuff (not that the other bosses aren't getting stronger as well, it's just that you see Ominas start out with Fire and some status effect spells, then he gets Thunder which he single-targets for great damage, then begins casting Fira (or it was Fira first then Thunder afterwards), and finally gets all the way to Firaga, which he will single-target off of Reflect for the Jobmaster Gauntlet).
He also has one of the best scenarios (and fights) in Chapter 7. "I summon you, Bahamut!"
When the Red Mage's skillset (and also stats, kinda) can stand up to it's more specialized counterparts, you know this will be a good use of the job system.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I somehow really like Profiteur, he just oozes smugness in a way that is absolutely perfect for "Your poverty disgusts me: The Job"

Mephilia <3
Also have a spot soft for Victor and Victoria. And Brave, since he's a punching bag I can pretty much try any setup on.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerWill Nintendo take up localization duty for Second? It's looking like they probably should and will.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Localization has apparently started about 6 weeks back if the rumors are correct.
Nintendo are probably busy with Xenoblade Chronicles X localization.

After BD's oversea sucess it is a matter of time. E3 is almost there, so I would expect nothing until then.

I looked at some spoilers for Bravely Second. We may need to change a lot of stuff related to the Celestial Realm on both games' pages...
Also, Bravely Third is in the works.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Correction, They have some ideas for the third game but they haven't started production or pre production.
Found a spoileriffic post about the Celestial Realm so we can know what to edit/change. XD; The first post on page 2 goes into a lot of detail/speculation.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I would wait with that.
Hard Endgame Story spoiler: The portal to the Celestial Realm in BS is what your 3DS-inward-camera sees (usually your face). Both Celestials we meet are just restless souls and were implied to be human (or at least something with humanoid silhouettes) scientists in life who found a way to Luxengard. From what little we know the Celestial realm is Like Reality, Unless Noted .
I am thinking of consolidating the two Bravely character pages into one and handling separate games by hiding them in folders. Should I go through with this?
Oh, and I will split it.

Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.On the one hand, I think it's a good idea, because we've already got a few duplicate characters on the sequel page, which feels unnecessary. On the other hand, it would be big enough that we'd need to split it for size anyway, so...
Or wait, are you saying you want Characters.Bravely Default to be a general page for characters who are in both games, Characters.Bravely Default Flying Fairy to be for characters from the first, and Characters.Bravely Second to be for characters from the second?
The former.
I'd split it into protagonists, Eternia, the Glanz Empire, Divine Beings (this one would be SPOILERS), and bystanders.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Eh, that could work, though I'm a bit ambivalent on it. Anyone else have strong opinions either way?
Considering Adding one particular character to the returning characters, spoilered out or not, is a spoiler in and of itself considering how few there are, I would say just merging the two might be better. It's how it's done on virtually every other series-wide set of character pages.
As we were saying, the problem with that is size. It would need to be split, or the formatting will break. Wax is suggesting splitting it by organization rather than just by game.
Yeah Waxing's plan sounds alright
I finally decide to tackle Nemesis. Satan wasn't too bad. Asmodeus dragged because of the stupid swallow attack, but he still couldn't escape my infinite specials loop. Mammon, Lucifer, Belphegor and Beelzebub are staying put until I get some better equipment. Oh hey, there's a new nemesis! It's level 99 and has Beelzebub's image! Let's check it ou-oh it's New Year's Takoizumi.
That'll teach me not to look at the actual name. Stupid cheating samurai. ;_;

Who was your favorite boss from the first game?
