Notice how Dreamworks changed the look of their logo. They really DID reinvent themselves!
I really wish they had kept the voice of Po's father from the second movie, as small a role as it was. That was an actual voice actor too.

You'd rather have that guy over Bryan freaking Cranston? Um...why?
Can people please stop using AC/DC in trailers? Pleeeeeeeeeeeease??
I love how everyone except for the two pandas in the room actually understand what's happening XD
This was so marvelous.
I really didnt like KFP 2, but it seems like I might love this one!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Kind of underwhelming compared to the Chinese trailer I admit, but still cool. Together, they've made me pretty excited. Here's hoping Dreamworks can pull off a good film trilogy for once. (Yes, I know it's not technically a trilogy. You know what I mean.)

The 3rd movie will be great, and everything after that will be so terrible the world will x-plode.
No I dont could you elaborate.
Also, Im a bit puzzled that it was the AMERICAN SHITTY Trailer who had the heartfelt and subtle scene. And this isnt an insult on American Trailers in general. I love AC DC but you DO NOT put them in a trailer for a movie set on ANCIENT CHINA.
I think 2 underperformed (Yes, it did 600Million and still underperformed. I hate how greedy people are) because they put so many modern songs on the trailer. It destroyed any respect the audience had for the movie and subsequently any desire to see the movie.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. All I meant is that I want Dreamworks to make three consecutive good movies in a franchise, a feat which they have yet to accomplish (coughShrekcough).
But yeah, I do wish Dreamworks would take their marketing of these films a little more seriously. Every time I tell someone they should check them out, I have to add the disclaimer of "they're a lot better than the trailers make them look. Just trust me on that." And it's not just the choice of music either. It's also because Po himself doesn't exactly come across as a complex and emotional character when all the trailers focus on is Jack Black zaniness. Just seeing these two different trailers, it's pretty clear that the Chinese respect the series a lot more.

Thank god you corrected me because I thought you meant Dreamworks would never stop at 3 movies. They would make more. I was so wrong lol.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Aren't the 3 Madagaskar movies all good ?
The Penguins movie is better than all the others combined.
I never disliked Shrek 3, and will never understand why other people do.
Really? I didn't bother to see the Penguins movie, maybe I will...
I thought the penguin's film was cute, but more aimed at children than other animated films that cater to adults as well. I didn't feel like watching it again.
Typical American trailes to focus more on humor than anything else. Remember the teaser for the last one which was literally just Po staring at the screen? Give credit to this one for at least for giving more than that. XD

The thing that impresses me the most about this movie so far is the fact that they're making an entire separate version just for the Chinese audience, redoing the lip-syncing and everything.
I honestly have to wonder if there's going to be some kind of Subbing Versus Dubbing war when this thing comes out.

They better not go farther than redoing lip synch. Otherwise, I am going to send a lot of angry letters to Dreamworks (those bastards are long overdue for some fan outrage).
.... they're redoing the lip-syncing!?!
THAT HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE.
Uh...why would that be bad exactly?
That? Nothing. Adding/removing/changing scenes? EVERYTHING!
Don't worry about that, it's only the lip-syncing. Regardless, I have to admit I'm actually very interested in watching a Chinese sub of this.

Wow. Completely different lip-syncing? That's some serious dedication to doing right by China. That's pretty awesome.
Also, we've got some new info on the new villain, Kai! He's a supernatural bull with a grudge against kung-fu and pandas, and he's being voiced by non-other than the J.K. Simmons, the master of curmudgeonliness himself!

President Whitewall does talk fast!
... which is exactly like he looked in 1.
Only with a cape and stick.
