The bridge sequence. One of the coolest things about the Furious Five is that they're all very different animals, and one of the things that make The Bridge awesome is how it emphasizes them not just as martial artists, but as animal martial artists and explores how that might work. It's one of the reasons why any action sequence that has Viper and Mantis in it is always interesting.
Also I love how well the action sequences blend with the music in the second one. I love Leitmotif in general, and KFP 2 had a great "dueling leitmotifs" theme with much of its soundtrack, with character themes weaving in between each other and in and out of the general score throughout the whole film.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Missed the new page, huh?
A lot of stuff about Shen (like the way he moves and fights). Other than that probably the prison escape. There haven't been any real deadly serious one-on-one fights except between Shifu and Tai Lung, and that wasn't necessarily an even fight.
(Oh all right, I'll stick with this topic.) There was also the final fight between Po and Shen, though that ended a bit too quickly for my liking. I'm already looking forward to seeing whatever crazy shit The Collector can do. They've done a good job so far of making him out to be one hell of a badass.

Some fights need to be short. I could write an entire paper on why the final fight needed to be short for story reasons... but I won't.
Dunno. That business news released a few days ago did not help my impression of them.
e-laborate.
Okay, forget the images because now there's THIS!
...I think I've just gone blind from overexposure to pure awesomeness.

Is Po going to go to the afterlife to gain more power?
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."What I'm wondering is where the hell they got the giant Oogway statue.
Okay. FORGET the teaser coming out next week! It doesn't mean we legally get to watch the Chinese teaser come out online right now! Nice planning, Dream Works.
....oh, and this is what I'm talking about.
*sigh* Goddammit Dream Works. I have never seen a company so hellbent on dooming itself.
I read that, and .... I had to walk along a beach pondering my life for 3 hours.
...They didn't stop for one second and wonder if their recent movies were underperforming for the exact opposite reason they stated they were, did they?I really hope this level of dumb doesn't affect Kung Fu Panda or How to Train Your Dragon.
At least that new trailer was exceptionally awesome.
Someone on that page said it perfectly: "I STOPPED watching Dreamworks films because they weren't adult ENOUGH!" This is the equivalent of bashing your head not only into one wall, but racing through 2 walls into the next room!
Well, hope everyone's seen the teaser by now, because it looks like Dream Works caught the leak and took it down.
And it shall be implanted into my memory, and it shall be a sweet, heavenly memory!
And it shall be a memory of awesomeness! Because that's what it was. Pure awesome.
The villain, Kai, looks really menacing. I like his glowing swords especially.

We get idiotic comments from the higher ups of big entertainment corporations for one simple reason:
The higher ups are not artists, but businessmen.
For everything to be good, people in charge or animation companies need to be animators/directors themselves, the same way Miyazaki and Takahata were in charge of Ghibli.
I love Kai so much already. He looks like the kind of villain where they sacrificed a complex backstory in exchange for sheer menace, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Holy shit, you found it! Thanks! This time I'm downloading it so it can't escape me again.
So today's the day guys. Anyone know where this thing's supposed to pop up?
So has anyone heard about the Kung Fu Panda fighting game coming out in the fall? I know licensed games are typically not something to get excited over, but I'm pretty impressed by what I've seen so far.
