Is it possible to get Wal-Mart to haggle? I mean, all you gotta do is just bring up how old that game is, and make up some stuff about it being worth less than $10 on Steam or Go G.com on at this point. Just make sure to do it with either the store manager or tech section supervisor, you might actually be able to sweet-talk them into giving you a lower price.
That's true. :-P Leave off the fact that neither Steam nor GoG have copies, nor can they have copies due to the whole rights issues.
What rights issues?
All those take is enough moneys to make them go away and poof! A Wild Old Game Appears.

Nobody's sure who technically owns the rights to the games and beyond telling the people who want to restore it to buzz off, neither of the possible candidates could really be arsed to figure it out ._."
That's most annoying. NOLF wasn't one of the games I played that I ever finished, but it was quite good when I got it out on loan from my local library.
A re-boot, or reissue on Go G or Steam would be appreciated, and it would make SOMEONE some money but if no-one can be clever enough to, like, actually do their jobs and take the money, then nowt can be done, as you said.
And I have an NOLF 2 spotting in the wild at my local Walmart in their clearance aisle:
I'm really not tempted, because $30 is a lot to pay for a game that may not actually work on my system.
