I'm worried the guy is going to run the site differently. Get rid of some things that were good about the site, or add some things that were bad. Different culture will make him prioritize things differently.

I am not sure if I understand all the details right, but what I gather is that is that Jim Watkins(N.T. Technology, 8chan and 2channel) accused Hiroyuki Nishimura of storing information of 2channel users and selling it. Hiroyuki denies and counter accuses Jim of doing just that himself.

I am not sure exactly what the suing is about (libel?), but Hiroyuki wants to settle it in court, as he should.

Well he's crashed the servers and abandoned the Q&A. Doesn't fill me with a lot f confidence about how he'll run the website.

Anyone having difficult posting on 4chan lately? I've been getting "connection errors" almost nonstop for the past week.

4chan seems to be going through an economic meltdown but I can't tell how much is real and how much is panicking.
