(x4) Conidering I've voiced my opinion on the subject a grand total of once, you're quite a bit off the mark. If you were targeting my character rather than that specific opinion, you have a better case (though one I'd dispute).
(x3) I... agree. (Rather unexpected!)
If only he'd gotten his wish.

So let me get this straight...
In the USA, it's a better business decision to make a TV show in live-action than in animation?
But...
In Japan, it's a better business decision to make a TV show in animation than live-action??
I think it has something to do with Japan having very little physical space to film live action, and their laxer laws regarding animators allow them to treat them in a cheaper and more exploitative way.
I don't really mind the style here, but I find the story so awkward and melodramatic it's just not interesting to watch. I'm probably not watching any more of this series.
And many of those "anti-moe" works fall into what I'd consider moe anyway.
Check out my fanfiction!.... I don't know if Japan is BETTER for animation, or WORSE!
Considering that most Western animation has traditionally been outsourced to countries like Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, and especially Japan, I'd say it's probably the world's best place to be an animator.
And in all countries, animators CANNOT care about money.

It's not like they're peons, but they probably aren't reclining on tatami mats made of 10000 Yen notes either.
lol true.
It's a treasure mine of reaction images. That's the impression I got.
I did naht.If I remember correctly, animators in Japan don't earn particularly more than likes of, say, convenience store or construction site workers.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel....where is that from??!?
I'm rather liking it; the series just oozes with the banality of evil and existential dread.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.2 Shuffle. Episode 4, I think.

Aku no Potato. Ewww.
I did naht.I can best describe this series as "What if that girl from Ghost World pushed you into spilling your own spaghetti?"
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.THAT was the comic this reminded me of! Guh.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntYeah. Nakamura is basically the lovechild of Enid and Tyler Durden who grew up with GG Allin as her lullabies. Yeah.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.I don't know how that guy managed to get overpowered by a girl, especially not to the point where she could completely dress him against his will.
Nonetheless I think I get what this series is about now. Probably something like deviance from social mores, utter insanity unfettered by morals hiding just beneath a seemingly normal person and a downward spiral involving those things, naturally.
Kind of, although it's also about how banal it is. That even these revolts against normalcy and transgressions are... pretty pointless, and doesen't really provide any sort of meaning.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntYeah, how the hell did I manage that one?

Wrong thread, man.
Are we aware that the mangaka wanted this adaptation to be in live-action?
