[up] It didn't seem like a clear rejection, but it's certainly tipping into the direction of Yukino when Hachiman really wants to fulfill that promise to Yukino and help her with this prom.

I am getting my information from this thread. Again, warning for Volume 12 spoilers.

Anime season 3 was announced to go along with the upcoming final volume of the book next month, so that's a really cool surprise.

Season 3 will be airing in the Spring 2020 season and its confirmed to cover the entirety of the LN.

Also as a reminder, the 14th and final volume will be out on the 19th.

First episode of the final season was released a few days ago. I appreciate that Season 3 went back and added cut Kawasaki scenes from the earlier light novels.

The final episode of the main story aired today. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with how the third season went even if I do agree with Light Novel readers that certain scenes and other aspects could have been handled better.

I say "main story" because Watari has confirmed for months now that the blu-ray & dvd releases for the final season will include mini-stories about them in their third years. I believe the first chapter of these mini-stories comes out soon in Japan.

I hope these mini-stories could be animated too.

Well that was certainly a finale.

It certainly was a good finale, with plenty of sweets for the fans. Heck, just the mere fact it actually tied things up (and in a satisfactory manner, to boot) puts it well above most other adaptations. So no, Hachiman, there’s nothing wrong with your youthful romantic comedy. Embrace the tropes.

I’ve heard the author is planning to write some novels about the cast going about their senior year in high school, and I wish those could get animated too. That Iroha-Komachi chemistry is brilliant, give more please. Seriously, Komachi straight up called Iroha trashy to her face. Nice.

I've got some criticisms, but overall I enjoyed it. Just expected a bit more is all.
