Is that other series any good?
Which other series?
If you mean Season 2 then yes it was great.
In other news the series is getting a new OVA I wonder if it will cover the LN's ending.
If you're talking about the Vita game-bundled episode, then no—the article you linked says that'll cover 10.5 and not the ending.
deviantArt | TwitterI meant DanMachi.

The New OVA is about Iroha's date with Hachiman in vol 10.5
Also about Dan Machi... never watched it, just skimmed through the L Ns, the premise sounds generic but the characterizations seem pretty solid compared to other works of the same genre
For those too lazy to just google Dan Machi and Oregairu together, Here's the link
It's also in the Fan Fic Recs page apparently
The fanfic now has a TV Tropes page.

[[evil:Ahh, Kos, or some say Kosm... Do you hear our prayers? As you once did for the vacuous Rom, grant us eyes, GRANT US EYES!]]I just kinda marathonned the first season and am currently in the middle of the second. I don't think I need to read any more Light Novel romcoms, cuz this series is going to be pretty hard to top.
Its just so great...and I only marathon a series when its truly great.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. You should go read the L Ns too after watching the anime.
It gives more characterization to the side characters that were never present in the anime due to budget cuts.
Especially Saki's. I'm saddened that they never animated Hachiman's 1st meeting with Saki's little sister Keika in the anime.
I actually am since I got curious; I'm reading 6.5 right now. Pretty good read, just kinda wish I didn't have to do it on my phone lol.
I'll probably pick up Vol. 1 of the novel when it comes out this month as well.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.OVA's out for anyone who cares.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I know it's been awhile since this thread has been updated, but I wanted to share what I consider one of the best analyses of the series. There were a lot of aspects of the series I really didn't consider at first glance that in hindsight seem quite explicit. While some aspects of his/her analysis are a little harsh or overly insistent in terms of correctness, I think it's still quite an engaging read.

I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsVolume 12 never, Volume 12 never, Volume 12 Never, Volume 12 never...
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. We've officially entered the endgame
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Oooh. Intriguing.
And it will never be animated cause it is an ending, sad.
Pray for an OVA.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.If they were going to make one it would have been bundled with the last volume to drive sales. There isn't money to be made afterwards.
According to the replies in that tweet, it's not the last volume.
Well, I said endgame, not the finale.
How can they animate material that wasn't released yet though?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's been two long years, but I'm thankful it's coming out.
Volume 12 should be out on the 20th in Japan, but people seem to be getting spoilers now.
No spoilers, just the preview images posted by the publisher's website. Specifically, an interlude and one picture of Yui and Yukino sitting on a bench presumably taking place immediately after the last volume's cliffhanger.
And there's already a translation for the interlude too.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Okay, the spoilers are definitely in full force now.
I'm at least glad Watari seems to not have missed a beat in the 2 year gap between volumes.
Damn, rejection doesn't get much worse than the guy you like abandoning you for another girl at the fucking prom. I legit feel bad for Yui ;_;

Anybody read Saga-of-eye's fanfiction in Space Battles about Oregairu and Dan Machi yet?
[[evil:Ahh, Kos, or some say Kosm... Do you hear our prayers? As you once did for the vacuous Rom, grant us eyes, GRANT US EYES!]]Cuz HOLY C-- It's mind numbingly awesome!!!
