Build-wise? I favored a tank build, myself. Emphasizing Vexing Armour and Elemental Ward(I usually went Frost, but if you're melee-focused then Toxic can be good as well). So that build would go heavy on duration and possibly power strength, I guess?

Some people also go for a power-and-efficiency build to make good use of his ultimate, but I don't have the mods to really make that work, myself, so I never tried it out much.

So,after finally investing on MAG's shields (focused on Armour,Health and Equilibrium before) and reaching 550,first mission I take halves it "due to weather."

The Archwing mission's a bit of a pain.

They get a litte repetitive.

Much for my dismay all the Synthesis scans I did today were worthless because of the limited standing, just 4 more scans to unlock the Simulor.

Funny enough I have a lot of Juggernaut parts including the BP for the decoy because he showed up every single time I played the Eris exterminate mission.

The Excalibur's Exalted Blade tears it apart very easily.

Infested Defence missions are so chaotic.I love it.

As long as I have a team,that is.

Re Chroma: Usually I build him full tank with the remaining mods used to enhance his abilities. Usually I prefer duration to keep his buff up as long as possible. I find that his ult and first skills are rarely useful outside of novelty builds.

Curious,if I die just before a mission is over,and the team completes it,do I still get zero gains?Cause I'd rather save my revives.

I haven't died before mission completion recently but IIRC you do get the reward, unless you've been dead long enough to count as "AFK" to the game.

Word of advice, don't invest into armor on most frames, it usually just isn't worth it.

I also got a Life Strike today. That makes me happy.

I'm so bored. I already went mag hunting to sell and I have dakra set to sell. Maybe I should go Boar hunting.

Would it be worth it on Chroma?

It could be seen as redundant thanks to Vexing Armour, but Chroma has a high enough Base Armour(Second highest, next only to Valkyr) that I'd say so. For the tank build at least; every little bit helps.

Armour in general isn't a great stat, to be honest; the damage reduction simply isn't high enough to keep up with high level enemies. If you're under concentrated fire it'll maybe buy you a few more seconds of life.

actually armor is very well done as a stat, the thing is most warframes have piss poor armor stats, and since mods are percentage based, said piss poor armor only gets a piss poor increase.

It usually buys my Valkyr enough time for me to pop up quick thinking and use Hysteria.

For my Chroma I usually go to power efficiency and damage to use it as crowd control using Effigy and elemental damage breath.

I'd use my Valkyr more but since I built another Excal, it is really good to use since the patch. Once you pop up the Exalted Blade and use Radial Blind to crowd control you can mow down 40-50 enemies effortlessly.

Thing is, if the average Warframe has little enough Armour that having enough Armour to make decent use of it is noteworthy, then it's not really a good stat. There are two who make good use of it and three or four tops who make alright use of it, out of a roster of what, over 20? It's just not really well balanced or utilized. I get that they don't want it to be a be-all end-all stat, but I feel like they've gone too far in the opposite direction.

I'm wondering if I want to bother tatering Chroma now. I have, like, ten reactors, and I'm aware I can't just get another Chroma if I sell my current one, but somehow I doubt I'm gonna be using him much and I could use the extra space in my inventory. Same situation with Reaper Prime, for that matter.

If you're short on ressources and don't like buff-bots frames, Chroma is a safe frame to skip, save for his one-time access deal.

The one time he was a must-have was during the quad-credits week end where he was bugged and doubled the credits reward of Dark Sector's defense.

i agree with armor not being a good stat in practice when applied to frames, and yes thye definetly went too far in the opposite direction, or rathe,r they didn't adjust warframe armor when they swapped to dmg 2.0, it was usable before that, though still far from being great, i was just mentioning how, in numbers and as a game mechanic, armor is actually pretty well done, it's just not any good in most warframes in practice.

Well its for you. If you don't like their stats nor their look, the only value left is their collector value. Reaper Prime might have a bit more collector value than your average prime weapon, and Chroma is a frame you can only get once without plat. There is no practical use for either of these attributes, so if you're pragmatic, sell them.

Apparently THAT would be the replacement for Coptering. I am 100% OK with that personally.

lets see, looks awesome? check, it's easy to pull off? check, easy on the hands? check, has consistent propulsion levels? well at least it seems that way, all in all i think it's a great idea, i'll miss the slide frontflip though, hopefully there'll be two "kinds" of slide, "slow" (without sprint, uses bullet jump), and "fast" (with sprint, uses frontflip), idk just a thought.

I really love the concept for Bullet Jump personally. It will really normalize the coptering niche to something manageable with any weapon instead of choosing a melee for it's copter capacity.

Tried to farm parts on the Void T3 today and like last week Fang Prime and Sicarus Prime had a 100% drop rate chance.

8 Tower III keys and several 40min survival runs later, I haven't got anything but crappy Prime parts, Fusion Cores and Ember Helmets.
