Yeah, I supported Nef and I had to kill the maniac twice and destroy the tubes once. I think there was something else to differentiate them, but can't remember. And I didn't find the maniac any more hard than the rest of the mobs. Basically a bombard shadowstepping like normal maniacs.
As a Valkyr main, it wasn't a hard choice. Imagined her crushing the video mid-streaming and thinking about all the extras she would be doing during the job free of cost, just to spite Alad.
Being a Nova main, it's not really a thing that would push me as much. Though I can't say I was really happy with going with Alad for this time. Mostly did it because almost every players went to support him for some reason.
Hopefully there will be some other stuff that might help change some opinions. But at the same time, seems players have been really pissed off at Anyo's event, so I guess this is the reason they're going for Alad.
But really, so far right now I'm really not sure who I would truly support.

Eh, I imagine I'll just support both to their prize points to cover my bases at the end of the event. Rhino don't care for you conflict. Rhino True Neutral. Rhino just want be family man.
Though if anything, I like Mesa enough that I'd also be inclined to spite Alad. Hurrah for the revenge-and-mayhem girl squad. I wonder if there's an 'Alad is a bad boyfriend' meme or something
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Don't forget Mag, she was the one they saved in that one trailer before he could make filet Mignon out of her. Then she pushed him out of the window at a height of "we are not even at the planet atmosphere". Sol hath no fury like a female warframe scorned.
Coming this summer to a theater near you, Alad V must die!
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Check forums for most important part of this event: Nef and Alad arguing with each other. Alead already called Nef a teapot. Sudden urge to join infestation rising.
Okay, so I'm a tad confused about this event now.
I've done four missions for Nef, and I've gotten neither his rewards for 3 completions, or a point towards the event overall.
Do you have to wait for the status to hit 100% for someone, then it rests to 50/50 and you get a payout, like invasion missions?
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Yeah, it's like waiting for a payout after an invasion event ended. So you'll have to do up to 12 runs minimum or 4 invasion missions for the event.
On other news, the new bow weapon is a clan weapon. So we'll have to start a new research in our labs guys. Can one of the clan leads(or someone with enough rank) start it up?
Made first three event runs. Opinions:
My toaster is strugling with new all PBR tileset. It's almost as bad as Earth jungle at night. Since I have all lighting effects turned off, every corner is pitch black and lancers become almost invisible there. For now rooms are mostly hallways and rest yank map marker like holly hell. First impression is resounding meh. Then again I thought Europa's set is fuckin' awesome at first, so my opinion means jack shit.
Now on something more positive. Forget Alad, forget Anyo, where can I sign up to team Regor. I can't believe it, but UFO-head is witty, threatening, (somewhat) affable and sound like a freakin boss. And he calls Anyo a Neffy and threatened to cut off Neffy's dangly bit and send it to the Void. Awesome.
Remember how during Gravidus we chose to save our kind over stopping Grineer enslaving innocent colonists, during Eyes of Blight we let Vay Hek take some victories because lazyness, fear of height and - drumroll - SCIENCE. And now we support systems most dangerous man because our grudge against (at this point) innocent buisinesman is too great to overcome. Reason for this grudge? His security systems inconvenienced us when we were robbing him. Yet another reminder that systems great defenders are selfish, petty and very, very, very stupid.

I'd like to think I actually took pity on the wretch that is Spoiled Salad.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundWell, Saddam Hussein looked like a sad puppy when in prison, sooooooooo I see your point. Whatever makes you sleep better.
I'm gonna point out again that there is less than no reason to trust Alad. Plus, he himself only states he wants to reverse his "Decay", but never defines what that means.
It may be out of sympathy, but I think it's kind of a terrible decisions regardless.
But yeah, holy shit, I love Tyl's new voice and lines. Can't wait to try his updated bossfight now.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. No, no what we did is fraud. Robbing is when we see the dude and coerce him into giving us money.
Sure, his ATM were... agitated, but we still hacked his account without him knowing (although to be 100% honest, how retarded do you need to be to not realize people are doing shady shit to your Bursa and not just falling for his telemarketing scam).
Tried the event. If anything, it is lucrative. Netted myself 75K and 25 R5 in one seating. Thanks, Neffy!
Can't wait to turn around and stab you!
(Since when were there colonists involved in Gradivus? And do you seriously support your brothers and sisters getting cut up and made into gestalt biomechanical abomination attack dogs for use as Corpus proxies over Sargas Motherfucking Ruk? Prany, I think you should explain yourself.
Also, Nef Anyo rubs me the wrong way.)
On a different note, does either mission have stuff to scan? I don't wanna start doing event runs until I know which side lets me better finish my codex.
but HOW?As you can see, schoolstuff has been trying to kill me.
Otherwise, I'd be on Warframe, probably.
(MUST REMEDY.)
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousColonists were mentioned in messages or somewhere like that. Event was basically save your kind from Corpus hands vs save innocent people from Grineer. While letting your breathren be taken, experimented and killed is by no means easy choice, it's also more selfless compared saving them and throwing innocent people who have no part in Grineer, Corpus and Tenno conflicts whatsoever.
And yes, there is stuff to scan, but it's choice independant as far as I know.
Promotional code: Tenno Scoom. Perfectly matching my current opinion.

well gradivus was more "save tenno-popcicles from being sliced n' diced for salad's research n' profit" vs "prevent the grineer from taking over mars from the corpus and thus getting stronger as a faction", they did mention colonies though, but they didn't say the grineer would kill 'em all, but enslave/control them, which frankly isn't as bad as simply murdering them.
i'm pretty sure that's also why the grineer won too, most tenno simply decided we could save our own and then decimate the grineer like we always do.
also @all those mentioning how awesome regor is, i have to agree, he's awesome, he's everything he should be, and he even kept his wackiness, it's just now he's smarter, more focused, he's still crazy but he's INTELLIGENT crazy.
now regarding the tubemen and the whole salad vs neff ordeal, i honestly think we've no reason to trust either, and while salad is definetly more dangerous than neff, i think simply destroying regor's research is not the best idea, after all, even if salad gets stronger using that data it's still data we ourselves could use to neutralise both salad AND regor later on, not to mention doing something about the not-salad-aligned infested, to be honest i'm not sure who to side with.

piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...I still want that Karak tho.
but HOW?Sooooo apparanrly they've decided to run a tactical alert this week too. Kill a bunch of Feral Kubrows to get a Strun Wraith.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Lots of boosters on top of boosters, too. Which is a pity, cause I have an important test next week so I won't be able to use it. The free kubrow pack is nice though, particularly the stasis slot.
oh and the kubrow pack looks nice

piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...Woot, already have it. Tac Alert is easy and boring.

The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI'm fine with easy.
... man, looking at the wiki the Strun Wraith has some pretty good stats. Crazy good status chance, definitely. Depending on how its spread feels it may even supplant the Sobek in my plan for a CC primary.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I'm more interested to see how it compares with the Boar Prime. And yes, it's quite easy to do, which I appreciate. But I hate them using fog to give some illusion of difficulty. It's useless. With all mobs being melee or flamethrowers I can see them just fine, and it's a graphic load on my laptop.
I went and did both missions once for a quick check. From what I saw, both missions have the same Mobile Defense portion, which is to damage some tubes, then defend a console for a short moment.
After that, the objective changes depending on whichever side you picked.
If you went with Nef Anyo, you'll have to destroy some Cloning Tubes kinda like opening and destroying a Reactor in a Sabotage mission. Everytime you open and destroy some tubes, you'll get some Grineer enemies showing up to attack.
If you went with Alad V, you'll basically arrive at a spot with a special Grineer held in restraits and synringes. Two consoles are on his sides and you'll need to activate them. Doing so will most likely release him and you'll have to kill him. From what I heard, the enemy is called a 'Manic Bombard'. Yeah, probably a bit bothersome.
On the other hand, in that same area, there are two pickup items that are just like Excavation Power Core, which you can find and insert in the consoles before activating them. Those are named Grineer Toxins, and if you do that and activate the consoles after injecting the toxins, the Grineer mini boss will automatically die, saving you from a fight. That's the option I did when I first tried it, so I haven't fought the mini boss yet.
EDIT: Did another mission siding with Alad and this time I had to break the cloning tubes. I guess the bonus mission is random every time.
EDIT 2: Turns out that if you side with Alad V, you have to inject the toxin in order to use the consoles. So no Grineer mini boss fight.
