Frost won't have anything to do with cold. In fact, all of his abilities will inflict 1 puncture damage, will be hard to aim, and will not proc.

And thank god for no procs because Frosts abilities will damage only himself.

Frost new passive is that he's slowed more than usual when affected by a cold proc, but he takes 1,5% less damage.

Eh, you sure damage reduction ain't too much?

I want to see how well it stacks with Warm Coat before nerfing it, until then I'd leave it on the strong end of the balance spectrum.

Well, speaking of Frost, I finished leveling my Frost Prime a few days ago, though I have to say I didn't really like playing Frost too much because of how sluggish he was. Although obviously, his value for Defense and Interception is undeniable.

But another frame I'm working on leveling right now is Zephyr and she's surprisingly fun to play. That high mobility plus the Turbulence ability gives a lot of protection versus Corpus and Grineer.

On the other hand, I've gotten to do Syndicate missions. Though I appreciate most of the Syndicate missions, a few of them are kinda annoying, but most of the time that frustration boils down to those Operatives NP Cs that we get along.

Seriously, I want to play stealthy to avoid too many fights, but these Operatives have such an insane aggro range that they will start shooting stuff way beyond you noticing them. Feels more along the lines of Stop Helping Me to be honest. >_>

It's even worse if you happen to get a Simaris target in the mission. "Stop killing the guy I'm trying to scan, you twats!"

I tend to avoid the defense or mobile defense ones, but I enjoy hunting down the tokens. Feels nice to get a boost in affinity(or whatever the syndicate resource is called), and the hunt is fun.

I actually enjoy Frost a lot, actually. I play Rhino a lot so I'm used to being a bit sluggish, and I do enjoy leaving behind a bit in destruction by way of the frozen corpses of my enemies. Still, he lacks the overall survivability I enjoy on Rhino, and he doesn't have anything he otherwise excels in. I imagine once I have Limbo properly leveled and geared up(read: With Magrite helmet), I'll likely phase out Frost entirely for him. Though with the recent nerf to Limbo, maybe not.

[up][up]Yo, heads up! Turbulance is very poor against hitscan weapons. Great against corpus but not so much against grineer.

Huh. So apparently DE only keeps a record of what missions have been done on an account, and is unable to establish a record past, a month.

So looks like I'm never getting the reward for Stolen Dreams that I didn't know existed until a month after the mission came out because I had no idea it was supposed to have a reward. I mean oh well, it was just some daggers and a potato, nothing huge.

So forewarning for you guys, I guess: It took them nearly a month just to get back to me on that, so if you miss out on a reward for something, tell them fast.

[up] That sucks.

That just goes to show that you should know everything about the game in every details just in case so that you can react to situations like that quickly enough.

I appreciate the thought.

But like I said, it's into a huge deal. I was only interested in the daggers for the sake of leveling, and there's plenty else that can be used for that. There's plenty of other better weapons, even if I did was a double dagger weapon - and frankly I tend to prefer Heavy weapons or staff weapons anyhow.

I'm mildly annoyed by a pretty lousy system behind it, but there's not much I can do about that.

[up] I prefer heavy weapons too. Mostly becauseI just beat the Stalker, with my level 8 Vauban on a level 20-25 mission. Much panicing was had. On another note though, I've finally got my Dread. Any recommended builds. I heard it's a crit beast.

Blue vs gold potatoe on Uranus. Less than 30% left. Grab it while it's hot!

And treasury ship alert. Holy shit, this is good evening!

Yeah, if you basically just build for crit chance and damage, you'll do something like 1200 base damage? That was before I added Hammer shot; not sure what it's at now.

But at any rate, it's a crazy simple build. Serration, Point Strike, Vital Sense, Hammer Shot(if you have it), Arrow mutation, Speed Trigger, Sawtooth Clip, and... can't actually recall my last one. Maybe throw on a status chance, on the offhand chance you don't kill something in the first shot? Mostly you just want one or two utility mods and then full damage.

I've gotten like, five off the stalker at this point. Still no sign of the Hate or Despair though.

The Anti MOA has just been fully synthesized, and that means more lore. Go check it out in the Sanctuary within every Relay.

Damn it I keep missing the credit barges.

In other news, some of you might have noticed Update 16.3.3. It's barely worth mentioning for its sheer size, and the low quality of augment mods that it brings.

I mean, Vauban's new augment is flat out hysterically funny. It adds 70% duration to vortex for every Vortex you throw in a Vortex. I mean, why bother wasting energy for 70% more duration instead of 100%? Without mentioning it's actually kinda hard to aim because of Vortex's projectile. All in all, forgettable if you ask me.

Lately there also was the latest edition of "Ask a cephalon" for those who care.

I thought this edition was interesting because they mention how the only thing keeping the Grineer empire together is that the Twin Queens have undisputed authority over every Grineer. If the Grineer didn't share that allegiance, they would probably back stab each other into nothingness within a week.

I've read the Anti-MOA lore snippet. On the one hand it doesn't say much, but I thought it was interesting cause it seems to be set in that period where the Grineer are still just some lowly raiding pirates and the Corpus hasn't been founded yet.

Also, the Orokin did tube-babies instead of bee-and-flowers babies. The more you know!

Void trader is kinda middling this week. He's arrived on Pluto.

Jolt(not bad, considering it's not available anywhere else), Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation(At what point is it ever necessary to have anything beyond one or two stars in an ammo mutation?), a Pyra Sugatra and a Prsima Hecate Syndana.

[up] Dunno. I could make some use of it on my healing Furis, but the maxed normal version already does a good enough job.

To be honest, I've never been sure of those Primed mods. Sure they offer more maxed bonus, but at a way larger mod space taken. Though since I don't have Jolt mods, I really could use a pair at least.

On another note, I realize that I now have the Fragor, Magestar and Jat Kittag. Given these three maces all seem to basically do the same thing, I wonder which one I should keep out of those three.

Jat Kittag, obvs. It's a jet-powered hammer. It also has a really good status chance.

@Question Marc You can however make them add up to last for a couple of minutes. Pretty usefull if you have to get distracted by shiny things. A confined space would be optimal for this. I have to test if it works with Tesla Link. That would be OP.

[up][up] Yeah you're right. Overall stats on the wiki also definitively suggests that the Jat Kittag is the best one. And the knockup on that smash attack is hilarious XD.

On a side note, I just filled up what was left of the MOA Pigments in the Dojo.

Definitely. I remember doing some capture missions with friends in the Void, and running into one of the more high-ceiling rooms only to see the target saaaaaaaailing through the air before coming crashing down. Good times.
