actually heat swords have only IPS dmg, with most of it being slash, the jump slam/shockwave attack is what does heat dmg, and it also has a forced heat proc.

He calls them a new form of "collectible cosmetic", and they seem to be glorified emblems, from what I can see. At the very least, the two example shown reminds me of emblems of past events.

that's the survival weekend event badge, so yhea it might have to do with that, my guess is we'll be able to put badges/emblems painted on our frames.

Well the question is "are sigil unique uncustomizable items or are they like clan emblem and fully player custom?"

Which I guess we won't know anything soon, not 100% sure how I feel about stuff to plaster on our frame. I mean, it's great we can change the lay out, but at the same tine it's starting to be a lot of clutter.

Then again it's also up to the player if he wants to customize his warframe like that. Perhaps a resize function would make it more acceptable.

EDIT: Btw if you use the Swirling Tiger combo with the Dual Heat Swords the Ao E of the fire, which you would normaly only get if you use the jump attack, increases.

About the sigil: The issue is that I am not sure how I feel about Warframes turning into something like this.

I mean, it's great if players get more means to tailor fit their Warframe. But at some point it feels like there's too much stuff. I'll have to see them in game to properly judge sigils.

Couple of fixes, including a bug that made it so that weapons with damage fall-off wouldn't have their damage mods applied properly at the maximum range. My Tigris likes this.

Couple other stuff, nothing strikes me as major otherwise.

interesting, it says they'll be serving the top 4 on a food truck in the new york comic-con, i wonder if that means the devs (or the ppl on the forums) actually came up with a recipe for "greedy milk", if anything i think it should involve whole milk and something with money(maybe chocolate coins?), oh and brains, or maybe cerebrospinal fluid.

In other news, there was a devstream today. I listened to it post-live and nothing really grabbed my attention. However, there are some pretty pictures.

Pretty pretty pictures. Includes Tyl Regor's hall, a marine creature from the water colony of the Grineer and Lex Prime's first few concept arts. That about covers it I guess.

EDIT: Oooooh, I nearly forgot: The Grineer apparently work on a "spend one to get two" mechanic now, for foot soldier. There's some concept arts for a machine which clones two soldiers by sacrificing another one.

No idea how that works for IMPORTANT Grineer.

i saw another interesting thing, there were various icons for an earth-based frame's powers, they even had names defined for the powers already, which coupled wiht the icons were pretty self explanatory, and at the end of it there were 4 that looked like they were the "final versions", same for a "meowframe" though i guess that last one was just a joke XP.

I hope DE will think out asthetics of earth frame's powers properly. Earth is more tangible substance than fire, frost or water so it has high risk looking out of place on space ships.

I got a golden tater from an Invasion and an Alert. I know the feeling. I just need Orokin Cells now. And Spin damage on Ichor is nice. Don't remember what it is exactly, though.

I wouldn't get excited about Earth frame's ability icon concepts, it was an idea submitted by an user. And the DC already has a vague idea of the next frame. It's a void/phase sorcerer theme. Based on what Rebecca said about it, anyway.

I don't mean to piss on your parade, but 1000 is about average for slide attacks (if not below average). It's nice you can make a use of the mod tho.

It's so-so IMO. I haven't gotten to the "shit hits the fan" level TBH, but even then it's mostly "do the same mission over and over". It is interesting that they are trying new things with the mini-bosses, but they aren't anything to get excited over.

Is the Acrid still good under damage 2.0? Mostly because I'm looking into things to level after I'm done with what I've leveling currently.

I haven't used it that much, but when I did it performed OK.

Certainly isn't a weapon as shitty as pre-buff Spectra.

speaking of spectra, is it any good now?, i haven't really used it post buff, but i've heard it's actually good now, or at least decent.

Haven't really heard any kind of news on the subject. AFAIK it's decent enough that no one bothers himself to post to ask for a buff, but it isn't strong enough for people to start bragging about their 6-stars build.

On the subject of forma, I've noticed about half of the Corpus research weapons aren't very good or need a lot of forma to become really good. Am I accurate there?
