Eh, I think I saw this a few times. Was it on some kind of package show where they'd work in segments from the old series?

The first season was one of the rare shows that was able to properly capture the flair of The Ren & Stimpy Show. Given Carbunkle Cartoons animated it. When they switched to Universal Studios in season 2 they lost most of that charm.
