I haven't fought EX Doom, but if he's anything like the standard one, wall cling just below the red spikes and attack from there with ranged attacks (whip also works well when he's full left or right), he can't land on you and the statues can't hit you. Disgust is a pain, but the only hard part is dodging the green bouncing goo, since you just super jump over him when he moves. And yeah, Abaragus' Domain is just like Transdimentional Leakage, but without any boss fights. It's just one long stretch, but it can use any of the room types and it has a lovely background.

From what I gathered, EX Doom is a lot like regular Doom, except teh statues are the flame-wall shooting kind, not the fire-breath kind.

I have a message from another time...

Ah, I figured it'd change it to the other statues. You should still have enough room to hide below the spikes, but still above the flare wave. I'll run through TDL again soon, but in all the times I've run through, I've never fought Doom there, it's always one of the other ones.

I finally managed to run into EX Doom in TDL. You can in fact still hug the wall and avoid all damage, but you have to be within a pixels breadth of the red death spikes. Being so far up does have one drawback; You can't hit EX Doom as much as if you were slid slightly further down the wall and therefore in the range of the flaming death wall statues. It's still doable though, and it does take more time and if you run out of ammo (unless you use one of the boomerangs, although I don't think that the standard boomerang will hit all the way across) you won't be able to hit him from there with anything other than the Whip or Early Morning Star and explosives when he's at the very closest range (i.e. practically right on top of you). On second thought, you may be able to fling bombs and other explosives all the way across the room and where he lands in the middle. The remote bomb, caltrops, jelly bomb and sharpnel grenades seem like the best choice. Sorry my posts are always so long.

On a non EX Doom related note, does anyone else find it odd that when you die and get beheaded with the X-Ray Specs pickup on, sometimes your head will have a pick-up item in it?
