They looked good in the Live Action movie though.

I remember when I first read The Lion, The Witch, And the Wardrobe right before the movie came out and I thought turkish delights were some sort of sandwich I guess because I was associating Turkey with cold cut meats for some reason.

Hi. I'd like to point out that the new Mickey Mouse animations look like a parody of the oldest Mickey Mouse animations.

What happened? Why am I not allowed to post anymore!?

A Minnie Mouse Cartoon is more accurate.

I

ADORE this show. It takes all the ridiculousness and just embraces it!

The Minnie shorts just keep being my favorites.

I want more Detective Minnie - though I'm surprised they did a detective segment and didn't have Ratigan cameo as one of the suspects.

[up] This series is so nuts, I keep wondering how much fun the V As are having in the booths while recording their lines.

The Great Mouse Detective is inspired by a series of books that I think haven't fallen into public domain yet, so odds are Disney would have to pay again, and sadly it's unlikely they'd think it's worth for a cameo.

The video is not available in my region yet. Could someone please list the cameos?

Beagle Boys, Phantom Blot, and Evil Queen.

Thanks. I expected for Phantom Blot, but hardly for the Beagles. Also, the Queen, huh? This series seems to favor Snow White over all other Canon movies, right? I guess it makes sense since it harkens to Mickey's early Golden Age sensibilities.

That was such a beautiful ending. Brings fake tears to my eyes.

[up] If that's the case, then the ending in this new one should give you real tears.

A short where Mickey spends it entirely without his gloves...and shoes?

Wow, that's gross. Also the melody of that song sounds too familiar...coincidental.

Wow, this is like the third long mickey mouse short we've had. And it was so great, the ending was super cute.

They both swapped attitudes at the drop.

They're both mean though, running away from a mummy who just wants his wraps...so his decayed body won't be visible.

So I just found out these exist, and they're great.

They replaced Mickey's VA? Doesn't sound like the guy they used in the later Kingdom Hearts games.

They didn't replace.

They purposely got a different guy for these shorts.

While Bret Iwan voices him in video games.

Another great one as usual. Honestly I'd probably be freaked out to by that mummy even though he seemed rather kind and friendly.

[up] Yet another two smash hits! Though I'm more keen about Split Decision than No Reservations mostly because I hate guys like the flamingo, who tell others to piss off even if they actually made reservations and everything. The guy was a turd. evil grin

Meanwhile, Split Decision got me laughing a lot more often. I seriously wonder if Relaxed!Donald's voice was done by Tony Anselmo as well or some other guy entirely.

The bit with the Daisy Hallucination was also pretty fun, but I can't help but wonder that they had a missed opportunity by not involving the real Daisy. Would've been fun to see her smitten with Relaxed!Donald but quickly get bored with him and thus be on the "I want my easily agitated boyfriend back" camp.

But hey, my criticism is just a mere booger in what I already said was a great short. grin

I'm consistently impressed with the animation and general visual direction of these shorts. Moreover I can't think of a single one I've seen that I didn't like at least a little. This is IMHO one of the best things Disney has done in the last few years.

Both excellent cartoons that reminded me of other excellent cartoons which, in turn, sent me on a cartoon watching spree. I love it when that happens.

New Mickey Mouse Short!

In which they finally tackle the Goofy sports style of shorts, a little differently...

The sight of Mickey wearing a suit that looks way too big on him was almost worth the price of admission itself. [lol]

But yeah, this was a great love letter to the Goofy Sports cartoons.
